A comeback....

Good work, you certainly are motivated. I have been slipping a little lately with the diet. It is killing me and i need to stay focused. This place is great and will help me stay focused.

BTW, I am from Boston, Mass USA.

Enjoy!!

Hey Matt, if you have not been constant with your diet, don't worry, start afresh, but never let the guilt take you over. You have already done it before, so don't worry:) Have a nice day:seeya:

Yeah I know that I will be ok but it is tough to see the scale go higher. I did weigh myself this morninf and was down about three lbs, which was all water weight. I must have consumed a lot of salt. It should be a good weekend since i dont have any parties planned. I tend to eat a little more at parties.

Thanks for the encouragement and enjoy the weekend.

Matt

Now, its almost 2 weeks I am regular with my exercise regime:hurray:,And today I checked my weight, down 2 lbs.I am feeling very good about myself, and my activity levels have gone up...feeling much lighter....hmmmm....feeling good:party:,Done with my cardio today:beerchug:
Thanks Matt for your encouragement, Have a nice weekend:waving:

Great way to start the week. You certainly are being consistant.

How was the weekend?

I had a nice cheat meal with pizza on friday, just two slices. Then Saturday i helped a friend move so he bought the guys lunch, which was pizza. I actually avoided the pizza and grabbed a subway sandwich on the way home. Yesterday I watched some football and organized all the Christmas stuff so it will be a little easier to decorate this year.

Hi Matt, am pretty consistent:coolgleamA:,things good so far...... Hi all :waving:I have done with my cardio party workout:hurray: and Matt I have changed my diet since yesterday, its basically 4 meals a day , a combination of protein and carbohydrates,no bakery goods,no sweets, a good amt. of salad and veggies...

Yesterday my diet included---

Breakfast- 3 eggs with 2 slices of wholegrain bread , a bit of cheese and 250 ml. of juice

Lunch- included chicken and brown rice with vegetables

Midtime -1 banana+ mixed vegetable salad + 2 slices of whole wheat bread

Dinner- fish with veggies and boiled potatoes :)

Great to hear from you. I see you are late this morning (morning for me). I think you are making the right choices with the diet. Now you have to comp-lete package with diet and exercise. You are doing this the right way slow changes lead to go habits and something you can sustain longterm. Keep it up!!

Enjoy the day.

Matt

Lunch- whole wheat noodles with veggies

Midtime-1 banana, tuna sandwich

Dinner- Grilled chicken,2 slices of wholegrain bread with veggies

It was my weigh in day today... so kinda super excited to see how much I lost, but to my horror ,I have gained 1.5 kg:willy_nilly: as I had increased my intensity of workouts, i was not hoping this:svengo:but it might be my muscle weight, don't know,I have decided to carry on with my workouts and check my weight after 2 weeks......

ok, here are a few things. Now i have always been here so i hope you dont take this the wrong way.....

First, i know this is hard but dont worry about the scale. There are WAY too many variable that can affect it. Water weight, woman things and stuff like that. You are in this for the long haul so dont let it bother you. Stay focused. PLEASE!!

Second, i know you just statered watching your diet after getting a regular exercise routine going but you really need to focus on what you eat. Do you know how many calories a day you should be eating? If not you need to. Weight loss for the most part can be broken down to calories in vs calories out. Your foods the past few days look great but the quantity of each food is huge. Make sure you measure and weigh everything. How is you water consumption? Make sure you are drinking enough

Dont give up!!!

Matt

Thanks Matt for your advice,I know that my quantities are much,I just thought of it, I need to have 1200 kcal , I will check out my portions dear,AND YES I AM NOT GIVING UP!!!!

that's right.. DON'T GIVE UP :D :D...

I've always had trouble being motivated when i hit a plateau or gain a little weight back... but with u probably neither is the case.. its just that often scale is not the most reliable tool to measure ur fitness level.. little little things can grossly effect the scale.. so try taking measurements of urself and check if the measurements have changed.. :)

u are doing a great job :D:D keep it up

Hi I am new to this forum and I read a few positive things you have told other people on this forum. I want to wish you luck on you weight lose success. I know you will reach you goal in due time. I am trying to find other ways to get extra support that is why I joined this website. Again Good Luck!

I'd really like to suggest getting a diary. Your enteries will get more notice if they are in the diary section as opposed to the newcomer section.

@Tawsif--Thankyou my friend for your encouraging words,I would surely take my measurements as they would give me a clear picture of my weight loss rather than scale:seeya:
