A comeback....

Done with my cardio :hurray: I had just been through a thread by Steve-"The Scale Mentality",yesterday,I agree to it totally, I had been tracking my progress or measuring my efforts on scale, but its not always right, measurements are definitely a good way to check urself :),I am size 20, gonna track my measurements every 2 weeks from now:)
 
hey.. great to hear that .. i often jump into the scale out of impulse.. probably hoping for some miracle and wen i dnt see it move much i get frustrated.. i know the whole drill but every once in a while i still fall for it.. :)

today was one such day.. jumped into a scale... was disappointed and ended up eating more than usual thru out the whole day... thankfully i was careful enuf not to eat anything unhealthy.. just a little more in proportion than usual...

but yeah.. measurements are once again the assurance that I Am losing the weight a lot faster than what the scale says..

so.. how are things with u? :)
 
I know that scale thing,Tawsif, I am gonna runaway from that:leaving: and check the scales after 4 weeks, I have decided that :),I used to get frustrated and eat more and surely the unhealthy food,chocolates and stuff......Infact I had lost a good amount of inches,I never checked though..... but you know it from your clothes....how they fit and so......but the scales showed up a difference of only 3 kgs....so I totally gave up:mad:,how stupid of me :willy_nilly:.......But now I have learned the lesson :toetap05: for a lifetime:), I am in total self control this time :)

Things are going good , I have increased my cardio.....

Congrats for being in total control and eating healthy :hurray:

Hi everyone........its been awhile since I posted on this forum......was quite disturbed by the recent terror attacks on Mumbai,India......Right now I have a mixed feeling of anger,anguish, hatred for these terror spreading cowards and hardcore extremists......Bastards can't see any peace loving,prosperous nations....Anyways I know the good will prevail and evil eradicated..............

I'm glad you are back. Keep up those workouts and with a good diet you will be all set.

I know it is hard but dont let all the negativity on the outside influence you. There are certain things you have no control over. Dont let that effect you.

Mumbai used to be called Bombay, right? I am just making sure lol. I work with a girl from india so I ask her a lot of stuff about her home. And in film class, we had just watched a film from India called Salaam, Bombay! It was a great film! Have you seen it?

I want to send all my encourgement to you. Yesterday, I had just started working out. I was going to the gym for two weeks but all my projects came in and I never had time. So, the past two months I was stressed. So, yesterday I did my Biggest Loser DVD. I am starting out slow and I am trying to follow the SOUTH BEACH diet. I just need to go grocery shopping...lol but being a college student means sometimes being broke

take it easy, friend!
 
:waving: I am starting with P90 today....got bored with turbo so thought of changing my workout...any1 here doing p90?

@ Matt---I won't let the negativity affect me....thinking of channelising this negativity in a positive way...by working lot more:)...You are a gem of a person Matt:hug2:always caring and encouraging,you are the greatest thing I discovered on this forum :)

@Bianca--Ya, you are right,Mumbai was Bombay before.....no I haven't seen Salaam Bombay......have you seen any other Bollywood movies?Are you a student of film school?Good to know that you are back with your workouts....they are a great stress busters....hows the biggest loser workout?Stay focussed...lot of motivation for people like us here....Thanks for your encouragement..:seeya:

I have never done p90 but i can say this. You will get out of it what you put into it. From reading about it, i would bet that it will be tougher than the turbo jam. Stick with it and everything will work out.

Thank you but I dont know if I'm the greatest thing on this forum but i will promise you this. As long as you come around here I will be here for you and you need to come around becuase i cant afford to fly to India to kick your behind into gear. :D Togther we can do this.

Its my second day with P90....done with sweat cardio 1-2......the streches before the workout made me realise how fat I have become...Oh my god! so damn inflexible......:iagree:
 
That's kinda funny because i was stretching at the gym the other day and realized how tight my muscles are getting. I really need to stretch so i can stay flexible.

I'm glad you are liking this program. That is so important when exercising. Keep it up. Enjoy the day. :seeya:

I have sprained my ankle during workout :banghead:....that's why I thought of taking rest today and yesterday....I will be back with my workouts from tomorrow... :)
 
Hey!

I dont really post much on here anymore but do stop by from time to time. I deleted all my friends for some reason. I didnt see you on here for a LOOONNNGGG time. It's one of those thing that you can never really tell what happens to a person when they just stop posting. Hopefully everything is OK with you.

I see you started coming back but you havent posted. Anyway, I was going to just wait and see if you posted any updates but figured you might need a kick in the behind to get going again. Let me know how everything is. I know i said before that i would be here as long as you were trying and I still mean that.

Like I said, let me know how things are going.
