a bit of progress

I'm 5'8" & I started out at 274 lbs

as of this weekend, I'm down to 242 (first goal is 230)

there's not a whole lot of physical difference... yet... but i feel 1000% better... If i could stop cheating on my diet, I'd drop faster :D
 
Can forsure tell some difference in the face.. Keep at it bud, and you'll continue making great progress.
 
Whoa, damn...that fish tank might be the reason for your respirator test.

Lol, leep on workin at it, you'll get there. Are you lifting at all?
 
a bit. I have a real lack of free time due to work, and I've had my bowflex paid off for a while so....

I started off with the standard better body workout (the 20 minute one), and this is my last week for that as I'm switching it up to something more intensive starting the first. I've changed my run and diet up starting this week too... I'll also have my measurements checked again on the 1st as i'm going to do it monthly. I'm only 12lbs from my first weight goal (230) which is where I was when I was running 5 miles at a shot (i had a HORRIBLE diet tho). the next goal will be 200 even.
 
It looks like your gut doesn't hang over much more. I think you should take a side pick now and then another one when you get to 200. Then you will really see a difference.

Keep it up man, you will be done in no time.
 
Your side pics look vastly different, but one has a shirt over it, and the other doesn't. Try to take two pics the same way, it'll be easier to compare.
 
i promise the next one will be topless... kinda touchy about the man-boobs :)
oh, and the fish tank is stained on the top from the person we rescued it from before.

I'm coming up on my next set of pics, and I'm starting to get worried... according to the scale I've only lost about 5 lbs so far this month & today we're heading to the In-Laws for the family Pre-Xmas. The cooking is atrocious (from a health standpoint) & no place to workout. Luckily there's a .5 mile track with some nice hills in it (will get pix) so I plan to run my butt off, hopefully literally :). Wish me luck!
