7 stone 12 - 9st 8 - fitness required

hi guys my first post.

I've weighed in at about 7stone 12 pounds for as long as i can remember. that is, until i joined uni last year. Now i'm weighing 9 and a half which i guess is better (i'm about 5ft 9) but it shows on my stomach. I believe beer is undoubtedly the culprit.

Being a poor english student I can't really afford to be over picky with my diet.

What i was wondering was if you guys could give me the best tips for fitness at home to tone up my stomach and chest a bit. I'm pretty sure i'm not putting any more weight on and probably shouldn't lose what i've gained. please advise.

do bench presses, crunches you know the usual. i would although advise you to lose some weight in the abdomen area as it will allow you to see the muscles more clearly and be more defined.
