GOOOODMORNING :) It's friday...and I couldn't be happier. I feel like its been the longest week of my life! Probably because last week was a short one with the holiday and all. Just thought I'd wish everyone a happy weekend. Stick with it..and good luck with your weigh in's! I thought i'd post a before picture and then a picture of me and the love of my life at a wedding this last weekend. They are just face shots but i think you can tell a little difference.

I have been slacking a little...especially on this forum.

In the past two weeks, the scale really hasn't budged. I haven't been eating as well as I should, and have been drinking a little more than I should, but overall, not too bad.

What's strange is that my waist has shrunk by 0.75" over the past three weeks, but the weight doesn't seem to be moving. It's possible that it's due to muscle gain, but we'll see over the next couple of weeks.
 
Everybody's doing so well! Congrats to all who have lost...I hope to keep up with you soon. Starting Monday I will be settled in at my mom's for a week and a half, and will have a built-in babysitter! I also get to go swimming! :D
 
I'm sick so my body is holding onto to ever bit of water I'm putting into it!

I hope that I get better soon so I can get back on the diet bandwagon.
 
Ok, here's a Kaitie update:

CW: 185
GW: 183.5 1.5 pounds to go!

1. Calorie intake between 1200-1350 every day. Mostly true!
2. Walk/Ride a grand total of 100 miles. (that's an average of 2.7 miles per day x 6 days a week) 4 more miles left!!
3. Finish my goal of 5000 sit-ups. Been there, done that!
4. Drink water until I'm waterlogged. I'm drinking tons of water...not 93 ounces a day but still a lot for me!
5. Not step on the freakin' scale everyday--especially around TOM. Failed miserably but I'm ok with that.
6. Practice my violin/cello at least 3 times a week for 1/2 an hour.Again, failed miserably but starting tomorrow I'll be playing all day every day.

So far so good!! I can't wait to finish my 100 miles and maybe push it to 200 before the end of the challenge! My illness is almost gone, as usual it's stuck in my chest so while I feel fine I just can't breathe. Hopefully by Tuesday I'll be back to normal.
 
Dari:We have been trading off weeks....although I really hope to meet my 6 week goal sometime this week! Your picture is so CUTE!! I notice that your daughter in your avatar looks a bunch like you when you were little!

I feel a lot better today and really want to restart my sit-ups--I've slacked off for 2 days! :0
 
Well, at least my snacking in the car didn't blow up in my face; I did lose one pound over the week. :) Off to kick butt now!!:D
 
12 days everyone!!!

I met my mileage goal... surpassed it too! I'm just going to keep going to see how much I can do...

I'm hoping to get down to 183.5 very soon!
 
Kaitie awesome job! You're almost there...I still have 14 pounds to go :( Hopefully i can get rid of another 10 before this is over. Im going to kick my ass!
