6 Day Split

Hey all,

I had been working out for about 4 months, I took a three week break and am working out again. The only think is my wife wants to go to the gym 5 days a week. So I am going with her. Can I do a upper/lower 6 day split without overtraining(day 1 upper, day 2 lower, and so on...)? I don't want to work twice as hard and get half the results. So if you got any ideas let me know.

you could do 3 days FBW and 2 days cardio

4 days upper/lower or push/pull and one day cardio etc.

thats how i would do it if i had to go to the gym no less than 5 times a week.

6 times a week upper lower is probobly possible, but you would have to adjust the volume, so the sessiones would probobly be very short. Not that thats nessicarily a bad thing, but i dont know how much time your whife spends in the gym.

Format

Sorry about the format of that, I copied it out on an excel file. I did workout 3 days a week before this I did the Chad Waturbury's TBT and liked it. The only problem I found is that I could not quite get all of the parts of my body done within an hour(I really get tired after an hour). So I the 6 day split gives me plenty of time to do everything. My wife works out for about an hour anyway.

Reps

First off, thank you for you quick replies. I do 5 reps x 3 the first two days, 8 x 3 the next two, and the last two I do 15 x 3. If this is too much, what could I do to burn the time in the gym(doesn't this sound kind of funny? Too much time in the gym?)? What could/should I take out? I already have some cardio in there to fill time. My goal by the way is to pack on as much muscle as I can.
