Hello all, welcome to my diary. I went from 163 lbs to 195 lbs in 2 years so I need to make some changes. I will try to update daily.
I don't really have a time frame for losing this weight. The most important thing is making a lifestyle change. Hopefully, I will be able to do this in 7 months (November 1, 2010) at the rate of around 2 lbs a week. However, I expect to drop the initial 20 lbs fairly quickly, at perhaps 3-4 lbs a week. I actually lost 5lbs in the past week by making minor changes to my diet such as stop eating 2 whoppers a day![]()
Strategy
1. My diet will mainly consists of raw vegetables and fruits. A plate of fruits or vegetables will always be next to me. I'm too lazy to cook and if I cook without oil, the food ends up tasting terrible.
2. I will drink lots of water. I will drink a big gulp of water between every bite of fatty foods such as pizza, burgers, etc.
3. No matter what I eat, I will limit how big I open my mouth (just to get into the habit). As a rule, I will not stretch my lips or open my mouth wider than I would when speaking softly. This, obviously, limits the size of each bite.
4. I will chew thoroughly until the food is completely mush.
5. I will exercise a minimum of 30 minutes a day.
6. If I do eat fatty foods, I will take a small bite and enjoy it as long as possible. If I mess up big time, I will puke it out. Of course I will try to keep this to a minimum and only do it as a last resort. Hopefully nobody objects here.
I will post my progress before midnight each day.
