5 months and about half way

Hi Folks.

Been a member on here for sometime and whilst nervous about posting my photo's i would like to share them with you.

At the start (end of jan 10) i was 229 pounds and in the second (taken last week) photo 215 pounds. I want to get down to about 200 which is when i really feel ive achieve my goal.

You were cute before, but are now totally hot!

Congrats on your amazing progress.

PS- You look absolutely perfect to me and don't need to lose another 15 lbs! Just my opinion, of course:)
 
Thank you both for the reply. I have been mixing it up in the gym by doing weights and rowing etc and started to ride 11 miles a day to and from work so still hoping to lose a bit more weight but ad muscle on top.

Also cut down the beer and wine in the week and stopped eating bread which has made me feel a lot fitter in general.

That all sounds pretty good.
Bread isn't so bad, though. You just need to eat whole grain ones and not too much of it.

As for the exercise- just remember: muscle weighs more than a similar volume of fat. And you're so slim now that it will be hard to add muscle AND lose fat at the same time (I read that on one of the many good threads here on the forum)
So, you could end up with your weight staying the same or even going UP as you build muscle. You'll look even better, but you won't weigh less. See what I mean?
So, don't be tough on yourself about dropping the numbers. If you are eating healthy and exercising lots, you're going to be fine!
