4lb Gain In 2 Weeks - Good Gains?

Hi

Can someone tell me what kind of gains in weight i should be making?

I've been bulking for about 3 weeks now (6 ft, 12 stone 3lbs), taking in around 3700 cals a day, and working out 4 days a week (chest, back, arms, legs/shoulders). I usually get around 250-300g protein a day.

My main aim is to increase muscle mass, and am not bothered if i add a few pounds of fat. Anyways I was 11 Stone 13lbs on 15th July , and now 2 weeks later weigh 12 stone 3lbs.

Is that about right and how much of it would you say is muscle and how much fat? I'm not sure of my fat % (about 14%), but what would you say is a decent amount of weight to add a week?

Thanks..

it can be very easy for someone of ur size to gain 4lbs just by retaining water. so i wouldn't take small measurments to seriously. U'll find that the gains you make will be more noticable in how u feel phisicaly and ur strength. that is a lot of protien. make sure that instead of just eating tonnes of protien, ur eating it at the right time. Protien shakes are a very easy option and its easy to calculate how much ur taking.

Yeah its well spread out. I usually have a shake in morning (24g), after workout then before bed, and tend to have 6 meals a day, each usually having something like 30g of protein in (e.g. chicken butty), plus i have about 3 pints of semi skimmed milk a day.

How much muscle (weight) can you add in a week? if you were to take away the fat gained as well, for example?
