My plateau buster was all that walking, I had never done that before. But after 22 miles in last 3 days, I am scheduled to work for next 6 days. Hope I don't gain weight back eating enough to have energy at work.

I have 70 lbs to lose. I have lost this same weight twice already. Gained it back the first time during pregnancy and the second time during a crazy renovation. I am 43 and need to do it for life this time. I am currently on a protein and veg diet. My own version of the dr. b diet. Any suggestions?
 
Well We Are All On Different Diets And Excercises! You Have To Find What Is Best For You! I Am Doing Weight Watchers Flex Plan Going By Points And I Love It! Before That I Just Ate Healthy To Lose But I Always Fell Off The Wagon! This Time I Am Not Going To Because Weight Watchers Lets Me Eat Like I Feel Like I Am Cheatign But I Am Not! Thsi Is A Very Supportive Forum Start You A Diary And I Am Sure Lots Of Others Will Post Ideas For You As Well!

Thanks red, I just walked 6 miles this morning too. I am hoping for an overall challenge loss of 6-7 lbs. So how is everyone else doing? Can we get a little 'check in' from everyone, a roll call? :)
 
I dunno, I'm going to wait until tomorrow to weigh myself. I always have a little minor swelling of muscles & joints after I hike the Grand Canyon, and so I like to wait until that goes away to weigh myself. Tomorrow is the big day anyway, right? When do we all report in?
 
I dunno what happened, but I weighed today and says 258 :( it just can't be, an 8 lb gain in no time from 250? I haven't deviated from my diet. This was my scale at home and then I weight at publix when I was shopping and it says 245. I really dunno whats going on but I didn't even eat 8 lbs of food since I last weighed, and most of what I ate was vegetables :rolleyes:
 
I BET ITS YOUR SCALE OK MY TOTAL LOSS SENSE THE START OF THE CHALLENGE IS 7 POUNDS! SO I LOST 5 ON MY OWN AND 2 SO FAR WITH WEIGHT WATCHERS SO MY SCALE SAYS I WILL SEE FRIDAY ON MY WEIGHT WATCHER TOTAL FOR SURE! JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW I AM PROUD OF EACH OF YOU THAT WAS ON MY TEAM AND I KNOW YOU EACH PUT YOUR ALL INTO THIS AND I SEE WE HAD THE MOST POSTS OF ALL OF THE CHALLENGERS SO WE DONE GREAT!
 
Well, it's the 15th, and I lost 1 pound total in 2 weeks. I can't figure it out, but I won't give up, I'm just sorry I didn't make the team numbers any better.
 
Good morning everyone , Well I have lost according to this scale this morning 2.8 lbs so far 158,8 from 161.6 so not to bad I guess sure is better then gaining
 
Hello everyone! Sorry I havent been on here for a while but been busy with work and finals week this week. But I have great news!! I lost 6.4 pounds this challenge! I was hoping for 7 so I wasnt too far from my goal. Im happy witht aht. Good job everyone and lets see what happens!

fata$$....go ahead and just re-weigh yourself tommorrow morning ok? let me know whats up :D Sometimes the scales just have an off day, I understand that. If it were a pound or two, it would be different, but 8 pds in a couple dys isn't right, so like i said, weigh in again tommorrow ok :D

Ok well I weighed just now and it says 255. Which is where I started. But I think I know what happened here. Until this challenge I really hadn't got on the water kick yet, and now I am drinking 4-5 half liter bottles a day. I think I am just more hydrated now than I was before. Because I know I lost fat, I can now tighten my belt almost 5 holes tigher than I could before! So I would say if you could respectfully exclude my results as inconclusive. But all has not been lost, I feel alot better and have learned so much going through all of this weight loss thing for the first time.
 
Yeah that happened to me when I started to drink water more. I realized later after a few days that i was retaining all the water becuase i was so hydrated! good job...at least out of this challenge you got something and that is to drink more water!
 
Wow Ima, do you think all that water helped with the fat loss? 5 holes better on the belt is a result to be proud of! That's wonderful!
