This is tricky! I realize that I was having trouble getting started this challenge, but I have come a long, long way from where I was at a year ago. One thing I used to do, that I do miss is....I used to lay in bed at night w/ a box of fudge, or chocolates and eat them as I read my favorite magazine and then I'd turn off the light and go to bed. Now I couldn't imagine eating something that high in cals' right before I went to bed....even though I wish maybe for one night I could forget how many cals were in them, lol!
 
Ok, so guess what girls!! I lost a pound yest!!! WHOO HOO!! 181 is where I'm at, which is fine, but I won't really really celebrate till i'm at 179, then I want a party! lol

edit....

I just realized I started the challenge at 183...thats a 2 pd loss! wow :D
 
ok i had to get on the scale 3 times this morn cause i thought it was lying! But I am so excited i have to post this! It says another 3 pounds gone! So that is a total of 4 pounds! I am just excercising and drinking water mostly! The bad part is TOM CAME TO VISIT THIS MORN SO I DONT KNOW WHAT WILL BE IN STORE FOR TOMORROW! I know most is water weight i do it everytime but i am not complaining because I know I am on my way to losing fat next! I am feeling better and to be honest I think I have sweated most of that off lol! I KNOW WE CAN ALL DO THIS SO GET UP AND ROCK THIS WEEKEND!! WE CAN WIN!!!!!!!!!!!1

I knew you could do it NB. Boy are we all going to look so good this year and we so deserve it .And you RN You go girl totally kicking butt Wow 4 lbs this week but how could you not lose weight with the great attitude you have Please keep that !

Ok its that time again , What is your favorite food to eat now that you are on a diet, and I mean the healthy kind .
 
I love veggies and light dip. I never ate them so I recently wondered why...but I could eat that all day long...and another thing is water...i know u drink it and not eat it...but i was never a fan of water and i hated drinking water....if you knew me you would k now that i never used to drink water...now that is all i want...i dont even want the pop or anything else...just water...:)

I've been craving cottage cheese like crazy. I will buy a container, eat the whole thing and still want more. Its weird, like unnatural, as I usually am satisfied by eating things I want. Only thing I can guess is that its because I've cut all other dairy products out of my diet.
 
why did u cut dairy out of your diet? you should still get all of your food groups in. If you cut portions and dont eat sweets its good...but iono about cutting out food groups

Also..cottage cheese goes into the meat group because when they grind it then it takes a lot of what milk has in it but still keeps the protein.

After not drinking milk for a very long time, I became somewhat intolerant to lactose. The exceptions are cheese, yogurt, and cottage cheese are fine with me. I know yogurt is good for you but I really do not like it at all. Cheese is a big no-no, its the reason I gained all this weight in the first place and I have to completely avoid it so I don't relapse or fall off the wagon lol. And if I fall off the wagon now and try climbing back on even heavier I'm not sure it will support my weight. Cottage cheese is really the only real dairy thing that agrees with me and that I like.
