How was everyones weekend ? Mine was great, had the great weather got some great workouts in the yard and did pretty good with my food. I hope to have a repeat today of yesterday suppose to be in the 80's today so I might just stick me a pair of shorts on and get in that yard so if you dont hear from me to much today you know what happened to me .

Ok...so I got on the scales today and it said I have lost weight!! Wooo hoo...Im not going to tell any of you how much but I will say that its more than three pounds. I want you all to wait in agony!! hahaaha arent I mean. hahahahahahahah!!

Great job Sara! Glad you're on our team, I'll try not to hold everybody back. I jogged today, but I'm still gonna hit the Power Yoga (love that Rodney Yee) tonight too!
 
ok ladies, I just want to let you know I am withdrawling from the challenge.

This is due to the fact that I have really been spending too much time online and obsessing so much about my weight that I really have been neglecting (to an extent) my kids. I should be spending soo much more time w/ them and not on here. AND I find a good 2 hrs every day to be online yet I find it so hard to find time to read my bible. I just have my priorities mixed up.

SOOO..its going to take me a while to "fix" things. To re-prioritize my life. In the meanwhile,I'm not leaving the site, I will still visit here once a day to make sure everything is running smoothly. I'm not going to get in everyones diary, or post in mine for a while though.

This "re-prioritizing" might only take a few days, but it might take a week or so as well, not sure yet.

I hope you all understand and support me...i will be back before you know it :)
 
Ok..thats okay newbride....you need to spend time with the kids...family always comes first.

As for the birthday thing...I have two this week...mom's and my brother's. we are going out to eat on wednesday and on friday nights. so i must be good all week and then be even better when ordering what i want to eat. geez o weez

Hey team whats happening hope some weight being lost LOL I am back at my stand still I guess go up a pound come down a pound back up Now I know what yoyo dieting really means.

So, 2 days after my 6 hour walk, I got on the scale and am down 3 lbs. So after gaining one lb from the starting weight of 255 to 256, I'm down to 253 for a 2 lb loss in the past week. I guess I can't complain? I really learned some things tho. I definitely hit my first plateau, and have to further change my diet. No more lean beef or pork, only chicken and fish for meat. Also I've been going way overboard on the cottage cheese, I ate 2 containers yesterday for 700 cals :( I'm going to have to cut it out and try eating yogurt for dairy. Even though I don't like it I'm going to at least try to find something I like and can stick with. Well anyways gonna head down to the beach now, gonna try a 3 hour walk on the sand :)
 
Must be nice to have a beach nearby where you can walk/run. It also must be nice to have good weather. We are stuck in the 40's in and out with rain and in and out snow still!!! Ohio sucks for that. Good job on the two pounds...you are doing great. Just a piece of advice that my councelor told me: If you go to low on your calories on trying to loose weight your body will eventually hit a plataeu becasue it feels like it is going into starvation mode because you arent getting all the nutrients that you need. just thought I would throw that in there.....

Cant wait until monday when I can tell you all my good news on my weight loss!!! : ):) :)
 
I hear that sara, I grew up in michigan. But its almost springtime, so you will have better weather very soon. Surprisingly enough, I've lived here for over a year and only gone to the beach a couple times. You always think before you go somewhere new you would do these things all the time, but once you get there the novelty wears off and its no big deal anymore. I just got back and didn't manage as much as I wanted to because I'm still sore from monday lol, but I got in about 5 miles in 1hr 40mins. As far as the starvation thing goes, I do eat practically nothing now on days I don't work, under 1000 cals. But on days that I do work, I eat at least 2000.
 
Wow ima, that's a bunch of walking, and your routines are such a mystery to me, but it's totally fascinating. Does it work? How does your body respond to such fluctuations in food intake, and huge amounts of exercise all at once. That'll keep it guessing I bet! I'm looking for a good plateau buster, so please share!
 
ok I am still stuck at the 5 pound loss but I am not complaining! I am going to start weight watchers today or tomorrow because i know if i do that I can lose and keep it up! I have to go to that weigh in every week and that makes me more determined! Plus i need to get a routine and have a way to get over plateaus and they help! So hopefully I will lose more once i get started on it! YOU GUYS ARE DOING GREAT! I KNOW WE ARE ALL DOING GOOD I AM SO EXCITED! I AM GONNA GO HOP AROUND DIARIES NOW LOL!
