3rd Times a Charm!

Made it to the gym for a little bit, not much tho. I have some paperwork to catch up on, and I'm a little freaked out, cuz I screamed hardcore at my boss, who was with the BIG boss, over the phone, and they're gonna be here Friday, and I'm SOOO worried they're gonna fire me for it! Arrrgg! I don't think that'll happen, I know my boss loves me cuz I refuse to take shit, hence the 10% raise(versus everyone else getting 4% or less lol) but I always get stressed out when I think about it. Sometimes I just need to learn to keep my trap shutttt. gaa! Soo in the meantime, I'm gonna make sure my store is so fantastic, that if they decide to fire someone for something so stupid(tho I probably deserve it) they'll hafta realize that finding anyone else to take that store would NEVER be able to fill my shoes :) I hope, lol.
 
Even more freaked out now- the boss called and asked me to be there early tommorrow. :( And I pulled a muscle or something in my back, hurts like a BITCH! hurts to breathe, don't wanna deal with it right now... gaaa! if I have a job tomorrow I'll let everyone know :)

Eek...I hope everything goes well with the big boss. At least your boss knows how great you are at what you do so thats gotta count for something. I'm sure you'll have a job tomorrow. Don't think negatively! Maybe he's calling you in to give you a promotion?!

Hope you feel better! Just take it easy and ice the muscle.

You just got back from a vacation but it sounds like you already need another one!

Okkk, so I'm an idiot. They didn't even say ANYTHING about me yellin at my boss, lol! They were pretty damn nice to me actually :rolleyes: ahh oh well, I overthink everything, and then let it stress me out till I hear its nothing, hahaha..
 
You need some stress relief! I hear ya on over thinking things. I do it all the time...I try to not do it but sometimes I can't help myself :) Glad to see it all turned out fine though. Have a great week!

I think most of us do that Jess, you let it stew in you rbrain for a while then it becomes the frigging end of the world...

But if you have the kind of boss who values your opinion, then he (or she) will also value your difference of opinion...

Thanks for checkin in on me everyone! I've been NOT good since getting back from Las Vegas, only made it to the gym once, and have eaten like crap alllll week. But, at the risk of sounding like the super fat girl- I think I needed it. Just one reallly shitty week, and today I'm back to the goods :) Ate verrrry healthy today, very happy with that(tho I ate like 2 handfulls of almonds- and even tho they're the unsalted kind, eh, too many almonds is a ton of cals!) Passed out watching tv, didn't go to the gym.. Man, this whole closing at 10pm thing kinda sucks! At least at the old gym if I woke up at 2am I could still get my workout in. Soooo, tomorrow, I will be working out RIGHT after work, that way I can't get distracted and sidetracked. I have till May 30th(about six months) to work my ass off, hopefully lose a buncha weight, and get my ARMS looking good since those are my uber trouble spots, for a friends wedding. The bridesmaid dresses are soooo cute, but they are spaghetti straps. BLEH! So, back to my "vegas challenge" attitude. Its nice to have something to look forward to, to help ya push thru it, because then you KNOW that you're working for two reasons- the event or whatever, and overall health. I'm getting there :) And after my shitty week, eating fresh fruits and veggies was actually a nice thing to do today!

You got this! I've seen your workouts from previous posts and I know that once you start hitting it, you hit it hard. Your workouts have impressed me...

haha! didn't even realize it, but yeah, but my back quit hurting a few days ago...musta just strained it a little, slept on it wrong or something.
Yeah, my workouts were pretty decent for a fat girl, i always thought :) Hope to get them even bigger and better!

Psh, thats not a negative comment AT ALL! :) Seriously, sometimes when I'm at the gym and I am KILLIN it, I can tell some people are just amazed at the stamina and ability a larger person may have. I think of it as a compliment to myself, lol. :rolleyes:
 
Again- didn't make it to the gym :( GOD! I feel like I'm not doing a damn thing this last week. I worked till 4:30 then went to work at the pool hall till 11pm. Bleh. It was a long day. So like I said before- I miss my 24 hour gym! But I am getting more sleep, so I've just gotta start timing it better...

I have a crazy long day tomorrow at work, so I got all my snacks and lunch packed and ready to go, yay! I've never been a good "early" planner, but if I have it all ready, I do so much better. The other choice I usually take is a protein bar at work, but damn! Some of these protein bars, whats the point?! Theres so much sugar and fat involved in them, are they realllly that good for ya? I've only found like three bars that aren't to bad, but even if I wanted to eat em, shit- can't afford it hahaha! neverending cycle.. :rolleyes:

SOOOO, hopefully tomorrow I will report a killer workout :)
 
Hey hun! You look like your doing fantastic and wish i would be able to go to vegas!! Im jealous!! Dont worry about this rut your in, you'll work your schedule out somehow. Maybe hit the gym inbetween shifts if you have time?? Or maybe break your gym shifts up into like 30min here 30min there? I always keep a bag of gym clothes in my car just in case i feel the urge to go there at some imprompt time.

See! I told you. You stressed over nothing. I'm glad the meeting with the boss went well :)

Sometimes we do need a day/week of crappy food so we get a break from healthy food. Glad to see you're back on track :) You're going to look amazing in the bridesmaid dress. You have PLENTY of time.

I hope you get in the gym soon! I can't even imagine going to the gym AFTER a long day from work so kudos to you for being able to get in there. I tried that once after an 8 hour shift but I was just SO dead. So now I always make myself get up early and hit the gym before I even get into work. What time does your gym open up? What time do you start work? My gym opens up at 5AM so I'm usually in there by 5AM :x

My gym opens at 5am, but I am TOTALLY not a morning person. No matter how early I go to bed, I refuse to get up early, lol. Would much rather do it later in the day. Protein bars: the Oh Yeah! wafer bars are good, kinda like kit kats without all the sugar, and you still get 14g protein. Then theres the muscle sandwich- suuppper tasty, but unfortunately, its peanut butter and graham crackers, lol, so its a little high in everything. And one of my new favorites is the fullbar- they have that annoying commercial on tv about the bariatric surgery blah blah blah, but the peanut butter ones are kinda soft and chewy like a rice crispy bar, so you feel like your gettin a little treat :)
 
WENT TO THE GYM!!! Woo! Bout friggin time :rolleyes: I went once last week, for such a short amount of time that it really didn't do me much good, and damn- I can tell that I've been on hiatus for two weeks! I did 33min and 2.96miles on the crosstrainer, and jeeezzz, it was hard. You lose a lot of your stamina and strength if you get out of it, but man, I did NOT think two weeks woulda been that big a deal :) NEVER AGAIN. Bleh.

Food was pretty decent today, altho tonight I had a little bit of macaroni and cheese. I don't know why, that fake cheese grosses me out. bleh.
Annnyyway, going to bed REALLY early tonight, weird :)
