3rd Times a Charm!

Those oreo's sound sooooooo gooooooooood! I'm addicted to soggy oreo's in milk. oh man. I think I might do that if I lose a lot this week (a lot would be 2 lbs, miss skinny minny).

LOL! Yeah, but I ate to many of them, and it pretty much just made me sick lol. However, I feel like I gotta do something bad now and then. And tom just made my decision on what the bad should be, haha!

So I didn't wake up till like 3pm- I worked at the mall and the gym last night, so I worked basically from 4pm till 730am. Got up, ate some Fiber1 cereal(gotta get tons of points this week) chipped linoleum in the kitchen, (jeez, thats a workout!) ate some Fiber1 cereal for lunch, lol. I basically didn't have anything that I was really feeling for lunch, and cereal just sounded yummy, sooo I went with it... For supper I had a veggie pita on wheat from Pita Pitt(even tho I said I'd never eat there again, I had to!) and it had lettuce, cukes, jalapenos, tomatoes, onions, sprouts, tzatziki sauce and feta cheese, so I believe thats probably another AT LEAST 5g of fiber. I did splurge and for dessert I ate a banana popsicle, and then a cherry popsicle.. about 120cals, didn't look at sugar.

Tonight at the gym I did legs: leg extensions, leg curls, calf raises, used the pullup machine to do assisted butt hotteners, hip adds and hip abds.
Cardio: 25min and 9.12miles on the bike, 25min and 1.33miles on the treadmill, and decided to go crazy and try something new, did the stairmill for 10minutes, which equalled .5miles, or 24 floors. To be completely honest tho- the stairmill I pretty much stayed on levels 2 and 3 for most of it.. Did level ten for about a minute just to prove that I could do it, lol. My sister and I were just friggin sweating like crazy! My GOD! I hate stairs!!! Buuut, it was a good cardio workout, so I think I'm gonna add that to my cardio workout everynight also.
A small rant tho: Why is it that some people so effortlessly look hot? Theres this couple that goes to the gym, and yeah, they do some pretty amazing weights, but they are just PRETTY! No fat, they don't sweat, her hair always looks amazing(mine turns into a giant frizzball after about 15minutes of cardio :rolleyes: ), his face is all chiselly and tan, and they always stare at each other adoringly.. Psh. I sweat like crazy, get wedgies when I do the stairs, my hair gets huge, and my face gets splotchy. WTF!
Lol, anyways...yeah.... :)
 
haha... good point about the pretty people at the gym.. i live in like the yuppie district of Atlanta and everyone pretty much goes to the gym as a pickup spot...I know exactly what you are talking about..
 
Some people are just.. blessed. And then you get the annoying ones who put gallons of spray in their hair and makeup on to look natural. The world takes all sorts.

Congrats on trying something new! I've been thinking about doing the stairmaster, but I don't know yet with my knee. Is it like going up normal stairs?

GREAT JOB on the WORKOUT!!! YOU are DOING great with the RESISTANCE training and THE COMBO cardio, and I honestly think doing SPURTS of intense high and lows will get you more results in less time too!!! :) GOOD JOB!!!

..and about the beautiful people....I FEEL ya....and ALL THOSE things, that happen to you, happen to me, BUT I LIKE when I look LIKE I've WORKED hard, like....YUP...this ROUND girl MOVES....keep watching CAUSE I ain't gonna be ROUND for LONG!!!

haha! I see that at my gym to- I can't imagine.. I go realllly late at night so I don't hafta deal with the skinny people.. lol. lame! Cuz one day, when I'm skinny, I don't want people to avoid me, :rolleyes:

Yeah, as long as you do the stair mill- they're hard to miss, bout 7ft tall with like 10 steps that roll around- I thin kya get a better workout on those than on the the stairstepper thingys.. just my OPINION, but I seem to sweat a lil bit more. But make sure your knee is ready! My left knee is pretty screwy and every time I step up, I hear it crunching... probly gonna need a knee replacement in ten years :rolleyes:

Thanks alta! Tonight was definately a slower night for me... didn't get as much done. but I agree, I feel like I'm working more with all the dif't cardios.

And yeah- at least when I'm sweatin to the oldies I can't say that I took a leisurely bike ride, lol. I AM a bit jealous of the people who don't sweat that bad tho!!
 
You're doing so great Jess! Way to get in that exercise. You're down 4 pounds already!! Yeah baby, Yeah!

Ah, 4lbs... Ya know- as big as I am, its almost a little dissapointing! I'm taking it, no problem, and I'm sure as hell not gonna quit- but ya just wanna see more than 4lbs in two weeks gone... ohhhh wellll... :)
 
SOOOO tonight was a slower workout night... I did ABSOLUTE bare minimum(30w.t., 30cardio) due to this friggin KILLER headache I have :( I did shoulders tonight, and for shit sake- every time I pushed on the shoulder press my head would pound, and it was one of those things you feel thru your entire body.. So, even tho I've been trying to do 1hr of cardio every night, I stuck with 30 min, and 10.95miles on the bike.
On the fiber end of things tho I got in 31grams. Pretty decent actually :) I found these really tasty tortillas with 12g fiber and 5g protein and only 100cals, so I made a lil sandwich outta that for lunch.
K, so I only slept for about 4 hours last night, which I think has A LOT to do with this aweful headache, so I'm heading to bed, will be recharged tomorrow for a killer back workout and uber cardio :) Lookin for another 2lbs this week!

I totally understand. I felt that same way when I first joined weight watchers. Seemed like the weight just didn't come off, at least not fast enough for me. I was 222 then, and still can't believe I am almost into the 180s! You'll get there girl, you're doing it!

Somewhere along the way, I just started being happy with any loss. I actually just wrote about this in my thread earlier. It took a while for me to feel good about losing small amounts, but now I look forward to my 0.4's and 1.8's, lol. Losing this weight has been one of the hardest things I've done in a really long time.

Keep the faith girl. You can do it!!

They're called Smart Wraps, by LaToritilla Company, and I just got em at the grocery store here.. I was wrong- theres 8g of protein in em.. Amazing!~ I really hope they don't quit carrying them :)
 
MJ- thanks :) I knooowwww that its coming off, but man, ya just wanna see what ya wanna see lol. I think as soon as I hit like the 10-20lb mark I'll feel a lot different about what I'm losing.
 
Alright- so yesterday I had 26g fiber, BUT I did go to Applebees and had the orange chicken bowl again.. bleh. I only ate half, so that was good, but I did go to another friends house later and we drank some wine, so my calories were probably a bit over the top yesterday.

My workout was pretty good, last night was back stuff, so I did the rotary back, seated rows, iso lat, and then for cardio I did 35min and 12.7miles on the bike, and another 25min and 1.36miles on the treadmill.Tried to jog a little, that didn't work out so well, lol. Need to get into a little better shape before trying that noise again :rolleyes:

Gonna go check on everyone, will be back later with tonights workout :)
 
Alright, today was one of those days... I didn't hafta open this morning, so I got to sleep in, and I slept in till 3PM, got 11 hours total!! Holy crap! I probly needed it after the last coupla days being so short on sleep. Fiber wise- had 28g that I could count- fiber 1 cereal(13g) for my 3 pm "breakfast", and lunch was a sand-wrap with those crazy amazing tortillas I got, so that was 12g of fiber. By the time I closed my store, I had only had 600 calories(and the only reason I had that many was cuz we got in these cute little organic cookies- so I hadta try em :rolleyes: they were ok.. but had 3g fiber) so I went to dinner with a friend at Perkins. I had an omlette with egg beaters(less cals) and tons of veggies in it, and my friend looked at me like I was nuts cuz I scraped the cheese off the top of it, lol. Ohhh well, didn't need a huge amount of cals, even tho I DID have 2pieces of toast and some hash browns with it :( oops. Then I came home, and my sister had pizza! GAAA! Sooo I had a piece of that also...

As far as my workout goes, tonight was chest, and for that I did incline chest press, flat bench press, and rotary lat(I'm aware this is also for your back, but it does a pretty good job on chest also). Cardio was 30min and 11.14miles on bike, and 30min and 1.65miles on the treadmill. I was gonna do the stairmill, but EVERY time I looked at it, I freaked out a little, lol. Tomorrow maybe I'll try to get some time in on it again...

You're right, when you hit those 10 and 20 marks, it feels more real.

You're not alone, I still wish I were losing faster sometimes too. So far this week the scale has not shown a loss. I'm going to watch my sugar and salt the next two days, that usually does the trick before weigh in, I shed the extra water weight faster.
