3rd Times a Charm!

Soooo I found a cheat way to use the gym till my cpr is renewed(which will be soon I hope)- I let the gym put an advertising box in my store, and so my store gets one free membership to the gym, WOOH! So there ya go. Noooowwww I gotta go, lol. swimming, man. Swimming STILL sounds amazing to me. We finally have some high temps goin on, so nows the perfect time to do it.

Today I only got 1pt for water again :( at this rate, I'll have not very many points to tally at the end of the week... I dvr'd a cardio workout on FitTV, and I tried to do it, NO JOKE. I gave it my heart for about 8 and a half minutes but I couldn't get the stupid trademarked "Gilad moves" down. Just kept kicking my other ankle. Not sure how that works, but I managed. :rolleyes:

So, I've got about thirty bags of protein in my kitchen, (always buy em with the best intentions, just never get to it) and I FINALLY made a smoothie today. Vanilla protein, 1/2 a banana and a can of diet sunkist. Tasty! I really liked it. I feel a little guilty for drinking pop, even if it is diet, because for the last two and a half years, I think I've had one pop, total. Not that mixing a diet pop with protein powder is gonna get me addicted to pop again, but I can't help but think of the consequences, ya know? I found other recipes to, so I'll just hafta try a different one each day till I find one that I can stand forever :)

pretty bad day. Not gonna lie. it was super hot, and I ate ice cream :( Shoulda gone swimming like I said I would! That woulda cooled me down.. Theres always tomorrow tho!
 
Its 230am... I didn't go out tonight- weird. Fridays are the only night I DO go out, so it was kinda sad to sit on my couch and watch tv lol. I did start working on my kitchen cupboards, so I wasn't a total bag of lazy :rolleyes: I hung TWO doors. No joke- it was a bitch! That and one of the hinges is crooked. So now I gotta take it down and putty the holes, and repaint the holes, and the redrill the holes. Stupid! I realize the way we're doing it is a helluva lot cheaper, but jeeeez. At this point I'm ready to go get a stupid loan for new cabinets. Bleh.

I called the CPR guy(apparently hes trading his training for a free gym pass, so its not gonna cost me this time), and hes outta town till July 1st, but now I can use the gym for real, without the free box pass, and I can still cover a shift now and then. AND of course, I'll be recertified for cpr. MJ: Last time I trained it was still 15 and 2.. REALLY hope it hasn't changed to much, lol.

Actually I think it has changed lol... I was at Foster Care classes a couple months ago and the instructor mentioned something about no breaths or no compressions anymore... lol you'll have to let us know!

Those bunnies kicked our butts this week! We can't let that happen again! GO HOOTERS!
 
So my weigh in for this week was miserable :( Zero down. Only a gazillion left to go... Next week we WILL be beatin some bunnies tho. Can't take the losing thing. NOOOO WAY. lol.
Alrighty, off to at least do some crunches, get some work in tonight still.

Well today I'm off to a decent start. I went to the gym(yay!!) and did 30min of swimming, and 50 crunches. My tiny itty bitty little sister- friggin 120lbs- came with, she usually works out with me, and she only did bout 15min. I gotta admit, swimming- probably not gonna be my first choice for cardio in the future! It kicks your butt without even realizing it. wow.

Food wise, eh. I went to a baby shower today, had a roll with one piece of turkey and one piece of pepperjack cheese, and a tiny amount of miracle whip, and then ate a big handful( :( ) of tortilla chips with 7layer dip, and 2 pieces of fruit pizza. Don't let that fool ya tho- the crust was a flippin sugar cookie, and there was this cream cheese and sugar sauce on it, soooo yeah... bout the only healthy part on it was the fresh fruit. And I drank a lot of punch, however balanced it with lots of water. Later on I had a bowl of soup, 300cals, and I just got home from the gym, and I'm STARVING so I'm gonna make a salad. Eh. Calorie wise- eh is all I can say. NOT horrible, but there was a lot of sugar too... Anyway, glad I finally went to the gym, now I can say I'll be back nightly :D

It's OKAY JESS.....I had CHICKEN strips and a Chicken WRAP and FRIES from MC DONALDS yesterday NIGHT too :(......my BF...conned ME INTO it!!! heheheheh!!!!

SO today EXERCISE and POO BABIES for me!!!! ;)

GOOD job on the SWIMMING!!! :)

Did 15min on recumbant bike and 5.5miles, and 23 min and 1.1miles on the treadmill, did squats, leg curls, calf raises, shoulder presses, cross laterals, and 3 sets of 25 crunches. Wooh! 3 points for today. I'm sweaty and icky and tired and have a headache tho, so I'm gonna leave it at this :)

Gaaa! I feel somedays like I'm sabatoging myself- started out food wise AMAZING today, then by the end of it, ate a few things that I didn't need, wasn't hungry for, made me feel gross, and basically was there so I ate it. :( sad.
But I went to the gym again.. I just know that I HAVE GOT to keep going, because if I miss one day, I'm gonna miss the next, and then skip a few more, and blah! I can't deal with that.
My workout was pretty good tho- did four sets of widegrip pulldowns, 3x25 crunches, did the cool assisted glute workout from Paulas page 3sets of 20, about 10 captains chair- I suck at this thing. Hoping to get better in the future- and for cardio I did the bike for 31 minutes and 11.19miles. I've also decided to not wear a light blue shirt when doing ass kickin cardio. Wasn't pretty afterwords. I don't think I've ever sweat that much before, and I'll take it as a good sign. :rolleyes:

My only worry is that like Paula, Fridays and Saturdays are my days off... I can still get in the crunches, and I could probably go for a walk and do some band work, but I have the feeling that once friday rolls around I'll just decide, to hell with it! Its my day off! Gotta get my brain to quit thinking like that I guess...

Yeah... me too.

JUST FOR TODAY JESS... none of that food JUST because it's there. IF you REALLY want it tomorrow, have it then... but JUST FOR TODAY, only healthy food that will make you feel good mentally and physically! :hurray:

Yeah, I need to start trying this idea.. I also saw that you dug up your old diary pages- I think I'm gonna go find mine to, cuz two years ago, hell! Forty pounds FELL off, and this time around isnot so easily done.

lol... just do it! This whhhooollleee week I have NOT wanted to go to the gym, but as soon as I'm done working out I feel sooo much better. And yeah- I'm gonna try to make my "last" day of the week a killer one at the gym. Thanks for stopping in :D
