Thanx I also went on my clinic walk for 60 mins but struggled right through it...Im callin the doc today...

Personally I start over on my plan about twice a week.
Keep tryin and every now and then you will be able to get on a positive roll

I know hey!I hate being wishy washy and all negative.

I just think , Taneesha was sick for so looong, like 6 weeks and now me going on to 4 weeks and sicker than before *BLAH*

Im working on it!i want my groove back!!!

Spring is comin!

It has finally sprung, however...over here we have still been dealign with super cold weather and snow, ha!

Ive been having too ha!But ya I have shin splints bad ones and am not allowed to do anything that will apply pressure other than daily activities:( No power walking or walking in general unless it is slow and steady and casual:(

Ive never heard that mother hen and clucking , HA!!!

*UGH* Ha!I cant walk it seems, my legs have been super tight just with everyday walking...Im tired and run down but it seems my cold is finally gone...well mostly I still have a super sore throat but all other symptoms gone.Now I need to find exercise that can do that isnt gonna put to much pressure on my feet and legs

Still sick yes but I took all week off sick and seem to be doing better.

Hey there.Always nice to meet new ppl.However, lol...Im afraid Im not the most positive person around lately.Im finally on the mend it seems...after taking 4 sick days!LOL
 
So I do indeed have shin splints.Appearantly a bad case of them.I have restressed an old injury according to the doc.

He said no power walking and no walking in general except day to day and if only slow...LOL

Im a cardio girl:(All my exercise needs to be stationary.He said if they dont stop hurting within a month he will then move on to xrays and everything else....

He told me elliptical training would be good for me and i will never run, well I know I cant anyway Ive been trying for years to learn how and it is just to hard on me.

Im feeling discouraged as there is no walk I feel i can walk the sun run, my feet and legs go numb and get tingly just form 30 mins of walking in my clinic walks:(
 
Well:)I think Im gonna start focusing more on weight training.I have Jillians 30 day shred, I have biggest loser boot camp and I have the biggest loser work out weight training book and I have a prevention magizine with a biggest loser training ciruit in it.

I have a bunch of Balance Ball Gaiam work out tapes with ab and full body work outs so , I guess the new plan of attack is, yoga, balance ball and weights along with recumbrant bike, Im unsure how it will make my legs feel yet...and I think im gonna go sign up for She's Fit and go use the elliptical after dropping Taneesha off at daycare.

That is the plan f attack thus far.

I was gonna start p90x but am a little unsure if I could handle it...with my legs...
 
Staying on a natural surface like grass in a park is a good way to not aggrivate shil slints. I am prone to those myself. Good to see you have a plan B in place!
 
HAHAHAHA - I posted this earlier but dunno what happenned to it, it dissappeared...Maybe in my delirious state of cold pills I didnt post it I dunno...

That is one of my fave positions, it is great for both the man and the woman...

But as I mentioned before, i have a horrible gag reflex and I choke easily too!!!LOL and alot

Aaawww your welcome, I work nights remeber, I always have the worst spelling mistakes and Im always in a hurry, HA!!!

I knew what ya meant and what you were saying.

Ya know my shin splints got worse once I started uping my walking clinics...Im gonna not go this Sunday as it is hill training and I wont be able to do it.

I think however I will rest and try just going on the next two Sundays and walk with my friend at her pace and see how that goes for me...If I can handle it at her pace then I will do the Sun Run walking at her pace.

Maybe some rest will help...like from pavement walking.

Im finally feeling better.I took the whole week off work and I have finally gotten rid of this damn cold Ive had for 4 weeks...
