btw i never asked you. you're not sleeping because of the schedule or because you can't?

Unfortunately usually about 50/50:(My shedule plays a part in it but also when I can rest it seems I cant...

Like a little example is:When I am really looking forward to going to bed and sleeping something comes up.Daycare craps out, kids are sick, something unforeseen happens to not allow me to sleep.

Well I havent been posting cuz I have been busy and just haven't felt like it, lol!

Everythign has pretty much been the same.

There is no boot camp for the next month so I will be taking a little break from that and will be returning in the new year.

Now though I need to try to squeeze in some exercise at home but I will also have more time as well.

Im gonna try to do my walk/jog as well after work before I come home.So we will see what happens and how things go.
 
i hope you will be able to rest eventually. a friend of mine had big problems with insomnia..he just couldn't make sense of his schedule and when he did have time he just couldn't manage to relax...either because he would find something to do, or he just couldn't lie and rest. eventually things changed for him when he started exercising and also doing yoga and relaxing/breathing exercises. i find those helpful too.

hey i have an idea. maybe a good massage would help you sleep or at least relax you. how about you treat yourself with one for every mini goal you reach? they're not that expensive if you do partial ones.
 
That is totally my problem Lena, I just cant relax or get busy doing something else, or so on, it really sucks. Im gettin a bit burnt out, i think it is time to use up my vacation...after Xmas
 
I think you need to learn some relaxation techniques, bad sleep is realy no good for ya. good luck with the running :)
 
I'm with Lena--get a massage if you can afford it. I guarantee you'll sleep better. Lack of sleep is probably what's hindering your weight loss. If your body isn't well-rested, it doesn't function optimally. Sick of me saying that yet? :D
 
:)Everyone continues to tell me that:SLOL..including the boot camp instructor...I think all my cramping stems from that as well and it is making learning to run very hard, :(

So boot camp is over till Jan and I really miss it.My goal/plan is to continue on with exercise and harder exercise so that when i go back in Jan it isnt gonna kill me.Im gonna slowly work on jogging, first with walking properally and getting my walking speed up.

I did Tae Bo on Monday, I did all 45 mins of it, it was a strength vid and I loved it!I was sweating like a pig and hurt afterwards, def boot camp equivelant.Before boot camp I was trying to work my way back into doing Tae Bo agian.I could only manage maybe 20/25 mins, on Monday I did the whole 45 mins!I was proud of myself , Im def getting stronger.

Today so far I have done Richard Simmons Sweating to the Oldies 45 mins, I forgot how much I enjpyed it cuz you do just that sweat your ass off to the oldies:)

I went for a walk/jog in a local nature park...so the main part is 1.7 k, im gonna see how much tha tis in miles and then the other parts were 700 meters...I dunno how to figure out meters to k's or what im supposta do with that, lol...I did it in 33 mins:)

Ka so bear with me here...1,000 meters is a kilo, so 700 and 700 is 1400 which makes that 1k and hten some making it roughly 1/2 mile...so 1.7 ks is 1.05 miles it says...So I walked/jogged (mostly walked a 1.5 mile walk in 33 mins, not to shabby I guess I dunno, lol!

Im happy cuz i get to sleep today but stressing out over a few things maybe i will post abt them later...

I just have my sleepy cocktail on the go here...a calcium magneisium, a b50 complex, 2 melatonins and a sleep ez pill.I was a little worried abt this one cuz it works...ususally and i was scared it wasnt all natural but it is:)YEAH!I also have my dreamy oil burning and I am drinking my sleepy time tea.Im gonna do some resorative yoga and then hit bed...

Oh and my friend Karen said she will go to water areobis with me a few times a week as Im wanting to keep activity as high as possible with no boot camp.

Hey Everyone, thanx for dropping by.

I just havent really felt much like posting.Ive been tired and busy and just not much into the computer technology thing.Ive been doing everyhting the same, working on exercise, i didnt exercise thurs or yesturday.I will make sure to get some in today.\im missing my elliptical, lol.I will do tae bo, or step or yoga, maybe yoga and something else. need to get back into making yoga a part of my daily life agian.Ive been focusing on working out at work as well.

So i think my problem is i just cant seem to make my mind stop running.This last year year ive been meaning to focus on and explore my spiritual side>Both my parents are very spiritual and as are alot of my friends.

Anyway I gotta go for now, i will talk more about this when I get back on later.lol
 
you just take your time. when i get like that i start writing...and if you don't know what to write about because you have so many thoughts running around in your head..write about spirituality, about your daughters, about your dreams...you can write it for yourself, for a friend, for your daughters...for me :) its the best way of focusing your thoughts and maybe write down what is really the issue you want to put out there for yourself :D

Im working on meditation been meaning to for quite some time now,My problem is im always tired and always have the kids, like no shit I never have a spare hour of alone time.Since I have started working nights Im with the kids more than ever.

Im gonna do the meditation cd's after work, when Im already in that tired low key state.I need to lay down for an hour and listen to the cd's , so I figure after work before bed when I am actually kidless.

Yesturday as i was listening to the introduction cd and as I was laying there I couldnt shut my brain off...I was thinking about everything else and not really listening, lol.I was thinking about Xmas gifts I still need to buy, about work, about the kids and blah blah blah...geeesh
 
I didn't get any exercise in yesturday, I was literally running around shopping and doing errands all day.Buy the time I got home I need to spend some time with Taneesha , my youngest.

I think Im set for Xmas, pretty much anyway...I have two more stocking stuffers for Kaylea and Im pretty sure Im set for Taneesha.I have all her gifts and her stocking is packed.

I was gonna get my Aunt a gift certificate to go to the spa she really wants to go to , but when we were discussing it and what to do for a family friend, she is liek Im gonna go before Xmas and get my nails down.Bitch!LOL.I told her we were gonna surprize her and take her there...so I gave her 50 bucks to go to the spa.

My bro is getting a g/c to a golf shop and Im scrap booking for my parents.Thinking about getting a pewter angel ornament for my mom engraved with the girls names on it.That is what my oldest did for me.Except she engraved all three of our initials on the angel she gave me:)Damn she is a good kid, Ive done something right!I love angles, I believe everyone should have one and no one can have enough of them, I gravitate to them, lol and buy them alot for gifts.

Oh I still need to get my friends daughter a gift...

I guess Im getting there but you know how it goes money is running out, lol...

I got MY NOSE PIERCED yesturday with my oldest, early Xmas gift!Sprung it on her, spontanious, lol.

And on Friday while I was at preschool my van was broken into and the ignition punched out, so it was left undrivable:(

You, are a cool mom... getting your nose pierced with your teenager is the kind of thing she will definitely remember, and... being the cool mom is always good because of the communication that comes with it on the important stuff.
