Happy Thanks giving Cerella. Hope you're feeling better.

At the gym I just joined there is a trainer who generously gave me his time to get me started and there was no charge. He said if I go on weekends (when he works there) he'll make sure I get good workouts. He is a gift as I wasn't expecting that level of help for nothing. Maybe you'll find someone like that too at a gym when you're ready.

Thanx ladies, happy thanksgiving to you as well!

Cerella, if you truly want to lose weight, you have to figure out how to make the "best choice" at the time. Seems like you're so busy, you fall into the trap of being overworked, tired, and going for the fast food because of it all. My guess is you don't have a lot of time to cook or sit down to a meal. If you can possibly squeeze in more activity day to day, that would also help. Do you have enough time to get in a brisk, 30 minute walk once a day in addition? THAT would totally help, and hell, it's "doctor recommended", right??? You mentioned the Tennis later--how often do you get to play? Look, we all want you to succeed on here. And you're totally brave for posting all your meals!! Or when you were, and you didn't trip out about anyone judging you or anything, of course I was a bitch and chastised you for all the sugar  but yeah I had my bout with half a pint of ice cream on Sunday night, so I'm one to talk! Still, I try my best most of the time. You DESERVE to be in Onederland so damn well GET THERE, Cerella! *cracking whip*
Love, Valerie :hug2:

Well...im trying to figure out how I should respond or if I should respond...lol...knowing me, i wont not say anything!...

For starters ive always been regularly active, I have only slowed down since this last major infection...my activity has slown down alot since I have been sick and sick for weeks on end. I have had absolutly no energy to speak of and yet have still had to run my household, be a single mom and work nights...when I am sick i can not sleep or rest as I am a single mom and need to work to support the kids...

So the first thing I choose to take a break from is my exercise as I need to find some time somewhere to try to get some rest in.Despite how shitty ive been feeling I have still been managing my 2 - 3 days a week of tennis...I have literally been draggin my ass for weeks from exhaustion and pain.

I know my choices havent been the greatest and I dont care so much, lol...I will make it to onderland eventually and I will never give up...

I log my food for me so I can see what I am doing and keep it real and see where I obviously need to make changes and so on...and to also keep myself accountable.

Im not makin any excuses, but I relaly dont think unles you have children and a family that you really understnad how hard it is to balance everything, I can feel my energy coming back and it is a good thing.

Typically I have been doing really well with my weight and eating, it wasnt until this last infection tha tI got knocked down pretty hard

No, totally, sorry if you're offended--but damn, you got HIT HARD with that infection!! I'm actually really surprised you've managed all that AND tennis as often as you do, trying to get over the illness! Hell, MAYBE you actually need more REST to get up to par, I don't know! I didn't get, from your diary, how sick you actually were :eek2: I'm glad you're getting your energy back--it's not really fair, when we get sick, on top of all the other stuff we have to take care of--and you definitely have more going on with the cute kiddies :)

I will respond to ya after Val...Im just droppin a quick line to say, i am tying to decide between boot camp 2 - 3 days a week or a personal trainer...hhhmmm

i'd vote boot camp personally unless you're sure you can get a good personal trainer who will work you how you need to be worked.

I hope yer feelin' better today sweetie and doin' well. :hug2:

Great job and great plan. Best wishes!

Ok so to be honest, I was thinking of maybe taking a break from the boards...BUT now HONESTLY, I have just noticed how PUFFY I am getting, LOL...time to get one board and work on changing things agian.

I dunno what has been going on with me lately.I have been making ALOT of bad choices and see that and honour it, I know when I am bad and can admitt it!

Now I need to work on changing the bad habits I have
re-developed!

Starting next week, Monday for sure, Karen and I are going to start doing the drop in boot camp at the rec center.Im excited and scared all at the same time, LOL!I also think I will look into getting a trainer once a week or so, through the rec it is 41 a visit, not too shabby at all.I also need to become more active at home agian and want to start doing tae bo agian.I gotta get the rest of this place organized and become active once agian or as active as I use to be.

Im trying to make a point to get on the bike more often, gonna try for 30 mins a day...

Anyway here is to a new beginning agian, hopefully this time I can contiue to succeed...I do know I will eventually but honestly I have my doubts...(no excuse meant) But being a single mom and working nights has been a big challenege with me for activity and energy.

But being a single mom and working nights has been a big challenege with me for activity and energy.

Yes, no kidding! But I really like your ideas about Boot Camp, getting a trainer, and doing Tae Bo at home! Would your little ones mimic you, like, kind of do it with you? That would be so cute! :beating: Staying active is a great way to combat whatever "bad choices" you think you made--when I accumulate surpluses and screw up my ideas for weight loss, my love for activity and exercise keeps me from gaining. I don't LOSE (LOL) uh, but hell! At least I don't gain (much). Hmmm well maybe a couple pounds ;) MY POINT IS, yes, try, see what you have time for--sometimes exercise can help DECREASE the appetite for some people--either way, if you're too busy exercising to snack, then all the better!

HUGS! :hug2:
