311 Down to 176 (Finished) - sorta

Nice to hear those words ^^, That's all it takes, determination and motivation and remembering why you're doing it. I'll be posting some pictures of the Power Cage I built in the next few days, if anyone wishes to take a look at it. Did some testing and dropped about 200lbs on it decently hard and it held up nice.

Here's 2 pictures of the rack as I said;
I just remove one of the bars and put them in the holes up top in front to do Pull ups / Chin ups

Wow you have made some awesome progress even since the original after photos. It's amazing what a good haircut can do too ;) You're looking hot :)

Hey man, just wanted to say you are truly inspiring. I'm a 22 year old clocking in at about 270 and seeing your pictures really gives me hope. Would you mind sending me the shirtless pictures? I'm really concerned about lose skin and fading stretch marks if I manage to have as much success as yourself.

Thanks

You study japanese too?! Oh you know your stuff! :p Way to go man
Haha ^6; yes, definetly a fun language to learn, frusterating at times, but it feels rewarding once you pull through it. Planning on going there in 2-3 years with some friends.
You built that? That is pretty bad ass
Yup, me my brother and dad, although it did take a few build-and-learn moments. It ended up pretty good. Just wish home depot's lumber wasn't so warped.

no problem sir, it just keeps getting better with time. although I still can't see where it'll be in 2 years. But around then is when i'll decide if cosmetic will be the only way. Not thinking of the idea until then. You'll suceed on your journey, there's setbacks, pleteau's, etc. but If you just keep thinking of what you want it's never out of arms reach.
jeepers look at your arms!!
woot woooooooooooo

Necro bumpdate.

I'm still around and still in the 170s. Life has been treating me well lately, got accepted into my Cooking course for next year and turned the big 20. Looking back on pictures from 09 the skin issue has softened a little bit. But still there.

Overall i've gone up to 179 then I usually go back down to 173ish then back up; Gonna try and get back down to my 173ish weight for the summer and try to get myself to stick in that region. It seems any weight I gain just goes straight to my lower back flab. I might try to dip down a little lower, see if I can break into the 160s just to see if there will be any change with the skin/fat and go from there.

I don't have any real update photo's but i'll have some next month near the end; some extra motivational tools I guess

Edit; here's one that can suffice for now

Great work man! I've been trying to lose my own weight. I'm down 40 pounds so far. :) Reading stuff like your story helps me stay motivated!

Wow, thank you for the update! It is really inspirational to see someone lose the weight and keep it off.. Congratulations on your new happy, healthy life! How is your SIL doing?

My Sister in Law is still around the same actually. I try to help as much as I can but it's ultimately up to her to keep the ball rolling. 1 month till the update. Off to the gym
