3 month workout

hey im 15 and male, im not fat but im a tiny bit chubby ... but my enviornment from my brothers is all muscle and thin, they both workout regularly and sorta shove it in my face... i do have some muscle because i have been lifting dumbells... my equipment is propably about 20 lbs on each dumbell that i use.... im about 160 and 5'5 - 5'6..mostly my fat is my upper legs and torso... i was wondering the best ways to get 1) muscular calves 2) thinner upper legs 3)smaller upper chest area 4) and thinner upper arms ... im joining the wrestling team in 3 months (september) and want to be in shape in that amount of time at the most but preferably earlier than that, i also want to begin either running/jogging/walking but am not really a good runner, im looking for advice...if theres any way to help, i appreciate the feedback

well every single thing you wanted there can be obtained by running. You want strong calves and upper legs which happen by running and to get the other two you need to lose body fat which can be done by running and a proper diet. I would start out 3 times a week doing 1 or 2 miles just to get in the swing of things and try to keep track of what you eat. Let me know when ya have that down.

start where you are comfortable... if you are going to be wrestling understand that you will be pushed very hard to perform physically... you need to run, run, and run some more... get some good sneakers and hit the pavement... outdoor running is best... swimming is very good for strength and fat loss, if you would feel more comfortable with that...

thats perfect because i get done with my finals on friday, and right after that im going to go out within a few days from that and get a good pair of running shoes and start out, propably later at night, does it matter much from day running to day for fat loss because i would sweat more during the day? i also havea pool that we just opened today and i swim almost daily in it during the summer.... is it alright if i am doing both running and swimming?.. any suggestions on weight exercises, or do you think that the running will encompass the need for weight training.... ill tell you guys my update on the shoes, and when somehow i marked off a mile and then 2 miles..... should i also try to get a stop watch and record my times? thats what im thinking about doing ... i appreciate the feedback
