3 month progress photo!

Well I have had my ups and downs with my weight over the past few years but I've finally locked into a groove with food and training that works for me.

January 1st 2007 - 226 lbs

March 29th 2007 - 199 lbs

Eat out only one meal a week
Eating 350 calorie meals of chicken/brown rice/brocolli (every 3 hours or so)
No eating late night (unless I'm just destroyed from the gym)
Drink only water
30 to 45 minutes of fasted/wrapped cardio every morning, wait 60 minutes after cardio to eat and unwrap
Kickbox 3 days a week
Weight train 4 days a week
Hill walking!!!
Evening cardio (treadmill or stair climber)
8 hours of sleep
Many suppliments

wow! great work, you should be really proud! keep it up man

That's fantastic progress

What are the 'many suppliments'?
And by 'fasted cardio' do you mean cardio after fasting? If so then I doubt that's such a good idea, you're blood sugar levels would be incredibly low and you wouldn't have a lot of energy to have an effective workout

My one and only real gripe though is that you've lost weight at such a fast pace that I can't help thinking that you might have lost muscle as well. If that is the case then you'll just find it harder to keep the weight off further down the line.

But as I said first of all, great progress and great discipline to keep to that routine

Actually I gained muscle and strength while losing body fat. Cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach I implimented midway thru the second month and the results were astonishing! It's a technique that many poeple use and many people don't agree with, I found it to burn fat fast and by keeping my protien up I could gain muscle at the same time.

Well if it works for you then best of luck with it, although the idea of cardio before breakfast makes me feel faint just thinking about it

Yes, very good progress!! Sounds like you're hitting a lot of great points: drinking only water, walking, numerous meals, no late night eating. Keep it up!

Great work, i can see loads of improvement.

Once you have finished cutting you should do a serious bulk because you look like you have a type of body that would be good for powerlifting.

You look 5-10 years younger in the after picture, great work man...keep it up. You're a champ.
