So i'm starting a three month plan as i need to lose weight.........

So, I am a 26 yo female have fluctuating weight and am currently at my highest weight I have ever been. I am 10st 3lb (66kg) and at only 4'11" it means my BMI is at 29! The problem is that I have under-active thyroid and I keep convincing myself that this is why I put on weight and can't lose it. The real issue is I eat a lot of foods high in sugar and fat and I cant resist my cravings for fizzy drinks!

My aim is to
1. walk to work everyday.....maybe run or walk back (3km each way)
2. Try to eat healthily and document everything that I eat
3. Only weigh myself once a week (when on a diet i tend to use the scales religiously)

So this is my three month plan and I will record my weight loss results just in time for my 27th birthday :s

Hopefully by starting a diary I will get some motivation from others with a weight loss journey.

I will be updating this regularly with my progress, worries and weight loss updates.

Wish me luck on my journey!

Hi Emma & welcome to the forum. Just eating healthy should do it hon. Cutting right down on sweet/fatty/processed food is a great start. All the best. You can do it. It's great you don't have much to lose :D

You're going to walk to work every day and possibly run home, you're going to eat healthy foods and document what you eat (which will help keep you honest about your food intake) and you're going to weigh yourself only once a week? You know what? That's a pretty solid plan.

I think you can totally do that, Emma. Good luck!!!
