Well, here we go, off on the journey of the new me! It's not going to be easy and I know this and I'm impatient and hate the fact it doesn't happen over night. But I'm beginning to accept this and I need to realise that it's worth it and in 6months 8 months time I will be happy. I need to lose about 58kgs, but I would like to have lost about 30 by 30th May 2007. I'm travelling over to the UK and want to be fit enough to handle all the walking and travelling!

So I don't think I'm on a diet as such. I'm cutting out all soft drink and adding in water instead. Taking out junk food. Then every night after I finish working (which is late but still) I'm going walking with my sister. I think we are doing it 4 nights a week, as one night I can't as I work too late. That night I will walk on my treadmill. I'm making sure I eat small meals during the day, as at the moment, I'm too busy to eat normally (excuses I know, not anymore) and then when I would eat, it wouldn't necessarliy be bad food but at the wrong times etc. So now I am getting organised and pre-cooking food when I need too!

It sounds like you have a great plan and you are taking all the right steps. As you said, you need to be patient and remember you are worth it.

IT's been hard today, it's not motivation or anything like that, it's more that I'm never organised, I'm still not eating in any good way (not bad food just wrong times or not at all) and that is starting to frustrate me! I've gotta learn to get up earlier in the morning!

Oh well, here's to hoping tonight is better!
 
Your off to a great start :) I quit the pop and fast food and I've only had like 4 pops in a year.. so I can definately say I think that stuff has a ton to do with losing weight lol...
Do you drink a lot of energy drinks usually?? I would suggest takin a good multivitamin, something for active women, just cuz active vitamins usually have something in there for some extra energy and stuff, but also, if your body isn't getting all the stuff it needs- you'll feel really wore out... worked for me anyway :) Have a great day and good job on coming here :D
 
Yeah I was thinking about talking multi vitamins, as I'm probably lacking in many things! I used to drink like maybe 3 at the most a day. Now it's none, I don't need them it's just a force of habit I think! Been breaking a lot of habits lately which is good for me.

Ok, better log off and go to bed! You know, cause half the reason I'm never organised as I sleep in! :eek: :D
