266lbs - 196lbs - 70lb loss - Before & After

A wonderful account of your weight loss. I'm here because my daughter is overweight, and I am looking for support and happy endings for encouragement.
You brought a tear to my eye.
You are a very smart young man, and will go far in your life. Congrats!

Oh my God! You look incredible. You could easily be in one of those magazines advertising some kind of exotic man perfume haha you've definitely got a model-face :)

Great job. I thought chubby you was cute too

AAmazing transormation! Not gonna bang on too much about it! But if you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you to lose that weight, and did you hit any plateaus? I started the gym and a diet last week, and I am worried I am going to give up soon like I always end up doing, but reading this threat has really given me motivation.

I am 222lbs, need to go down. Well I don't know, I am also 6 foot 2" but was thinking 170lbs would be good, but not im not too sure :/

Thanks for all the epic comments! Time for a big bump for this topic! I've kept up the lifestyle and become more active running 3-4 times a week at 10KM+ distance. I'm loving life and in better shape than ever, now currently 183lbs :)

It's taken a while but oh so worth it! Hope this can inspire others, it's possible just always focus on your goal.

Awesome job man! I really appreciate you updating the thread. Great to hear that someone has maintained so well. Very inspirational!

Hey man! You are indeed an inspiration. Now, I need to run!

Thanks! I used to hate running but have grown more attached to it now. Take it slow and get into it and you'll learn to love it.

Thanks for all the great replies! Weight loss has been a massive part of my life for a few years now, I can't believe the transformation sometimes!

Today I ran my first 10KM timed event, it was a charity run in Milton Keynes for AgeUK. The weather wasn't great, it started to lightly snow and -2 temp! I went into it thinking I should pace myself but that never seems to happy these days!

Results were :

Gun Time : 45:57
Chip Time : 45:42
Position : 34th Out Of 337

So pleased with my placing, this wouldn't have been possible three years ago! Also pleased as it's a new PB, fastest before this was 47:09 so I've smashed that! Got a pic of me looking smug with my medal and race number :

Also decided it was time to get back in the gym so resigned up a couple of weeks back and trying to build on more muscle. Will keep you guys up to date with progress :) thanks for all the encouragement :)
