25 Pounds to go!

Okay. so it has been almost a month since I last posted, I've just been so busy! I had a bit of a setback though, I went home for my spring break during the last week of march and before I went home I was 141, after a week and a half at home I was 151! Me and my mom don't eat horribly when we are apart but for some reason when we are together we just binge on junk food and it caused me to gain ten pounds in about two weeks! So that was tough for me, now I have to focus on getting back to where I was instead of focusing on progressing into the 130's, which was what i was hoping to be doing by this point. But oh well, I try not to beat myself up too much about things because what's done is done and there's no use feeling guilty about it. Buttt some good news is that I have really buckled down this week and went from 151 to 145.4 according to my weigh-in this morning! So I somehow lost almost 6 pounds this week! I think when you go from bingeing like I was and probably eating around 4,000 calories a day to suddenly eating 1,000 calories a day again your body drops weight really quickly at first, but its definitely helped me out! So my goal is to get to 140 by the time I go home for summer, which is about 3 and a half weeks. So honestly I'm hoping to finally break into the 130's by then but I want to make sure I set an attainable goal so I don't disappoint myself. Because when I was previously at 141 I was at that weight for about 2 weeks, it was extremely hard to lose weight, I think losing that last 10 pounds is really tough. The problem is that I'm STILL not exercising regularly!! It's pretty shocking that I've even managed to lose 50 pounds without regular exercise, I mean sometimes but just not a regular routine, and I have loose skin that I really want to firm and tighten but the only way that will happen quickly is through exercise, according to what I've read. And I want to be bikini ready this summer! Or else losing all this weight was pointless if I still am too embarassed to go to the pool with my friends! So the only thing holding me back is my loose skin and I have pretty bad stretch marks from gaining the weight, I mean bad. Which is embarrassing because I'm only eighteen and no one else my age has stretch marks, all my friends have flawless skin so its tough to not be embarassed about it.. but they've faded considerably since I've lost weight and hopefully they continue to fade! Hey everyone! So I had a pretty good week, at the beginning of the week I was 145 and this morning I am 143.0! So I've got about two and a half weeks left of school which means 2 and a half weeks to lose those last 3 pounds to reach my goal of being 140 by the time I go home for summer, and I think that its definitely possible! My overall goal is 130 but I feel like that might be too much when I look at where I am right now, 135 might be enough for me, I try not to focus so much on the weight as a number I just want to feel good about how I look

What I'm really excited for is finally starting to work out regularly! When I'm home for the summer I'll have tons of time to work out! So I think that will help me finish the weight loss goals and tone up and tighten everything, so I'm excited! I love working out, it makes me feel so good and helps me relieve stress but I just neverrr have time, but this summer I'm determined to get into shape! I have 50 less pounds weighing me down so working out won't be such the struggle it used to be :)

Hey guys! So it's been a little over a week since I last posted, and this morning I weighed 140.4!!!! I'm so close to being in the 130's! I think the last time I was in the 130 range was almost 5 years ago! So this is very exciting for me! I hope to still be 140 by the end of the week, but it would be really nice if I got to 139.5 :) So I'm feeling really great right now! The only thing kind of worrying me is that I've finally reached 140 after so much hard work and am finally within 5-10 pounds of my goal but whenever I go home I always find it so much harder to stick to my diet! I nearly always gain weight when I'm home so I'm worried about gaining weight after I've finally gotten to 140! But then I realized that I am the one in control of whether or not I stay on my diet, your diet shouldn't vary because you're somewhere different than your regular schedule. That's one of the things that I feel is most important in maintaining weight loss, if I can stick to my diet and adapt it to all areas of my life, whether going out to eat or out with friends, being home, or being at school, then thats when it is really going to become my regular healthy diet that will keep me from gaining the weight back. Because your diet should not change depending on where you are or who you're with, thats one of the most important things I've learned! So I'm really going to try really hard to stay healthy this summer, and when I go home my mom is going to start dieting too so that might help because we tend to binge eat together, so hopefully we stay healthy! Way to go girly! I haven't been in the 140s for at least 8 years. I can't wait to see 139.5 myself lol I have a long way still left to go though. I started at 240. I'm down to 180. All we can do it take it day by day. Good Luck to you. You are so close to your goal.
