236lbs to 150lbs by the end of 2011, eating 60-70% raw food

I guess I spoke too soon!!

Well after my last post I have not been strict with my raw food eating, not because I was unable to stop myself from eating crap, but because I was away from home alot and it's less complicaed to eat junk sometimes. I don't think I gained any weight though, and I definitely was eating for the sake of hunger rather than for the sake of food addiction. I drank Cider all night and day on Saturday/ Sunday, then ate a homemade burger with cheese on it, and then ate fish and chips at midnight that night, so that was a serious blow out!!!! I forgive myself completely though, and after my toxic weekend I am back on the straight and narrow. I have found this restaurant near my work that serves beautiful vegan and vegetarian wholefoods, so while I have not been eating raw, I have at least been eating nutritious healthy food.

I know though, that the raw food plan is the best for my body. I've been eating dairy again and bread, and I feel the difference in my body, in a negative way. I feel wrecked all the time. So today I'm back on the case. I am going on holiday in 15 weeks and I wonder if I could shift a bit of poundage...

Even though I haven't been following the raw food diet for the last while, I still feel that the six weeks I did follow it have broken my pattern of compulsive eating, and I am thankful for that.

Back Again!

So after another two weeks of putting it off til tomorrow and eating crap I bounded out of the bed this morning, went off to the pool, swam for 30mins medium intensity and then have only eaten raw food all day. May it continue. I would like to be able to wear a UK size 16 when I go on holiday. My friends are all size 10, of course. I am a fat friend. Dear oh dear. I loved my swim this morning, I forgot how great swimming is. I hope I can form a good habit. The bad ones seem to be alot easier to stick to...
