Howddyyy, I haven't posted on here in YEEARSS.. been an infrequent lurker for about 4 years now, had to register a new account as I think my old one was deleted (pretty upset that I can't register the name CoconutCoffee because it has the word nut in it!) anyways, I first came on her when I was 17, I asked stupid questions.. You guys gave me answers I understood (when I first started losing weight I wanted it simple, "do this, don't do that") ...6 months after coming her and deciding to lose weight I had lost 30lb, now I've grown up a little and haven't stuck to my plan so well (discovering alcohol helped me throw some weight back on) ...but through and through I've had a steady decline down and I thought I'd share my before and almost afters at the place that helped me get there. Nowadays I'm back on track, eating healthy etc etc (its amazing what good food can do for you, without even trying I lost 10ish pounds by becoming a fruitoholic). Started at 235, down to 168, it was 90% diet.. the only exercise I do is riding around on my bike. Hope to becoming a permanent staple in this community!

Losing weight is definitely a strange journey, props to everyone here for actually standing up and accepting the challenge. Gonna throw in some face pics, don't laugh at my hair in the before pics, I was young!, its real.. cut it off (is their a hair-loss forum?) ;-)

And today!

Wow, amazing difference. It's true that you are what you eat. I've lost 50lbs just by drinking lots of water, cutting out soda and eating smaller portions (don't even exercise except for some push-ups, which were impossible when I started out hehe). I didn't even switch to fruit, still eating the same old junk just more carefully. I've still got to lose another 40lbs or so and I should probably go the fruit route like you. Great inspiration!

Fantastic job man, that is a great accomplishment. You should be hella proud of yourself.

Nice hair, by the way. :D

Dude what a difference! Good work my man! Very inspirational.

Have you got any loose skin at all around your stomach? Thats one thing I'm worried about after I've lost the amount I want to loose.

Surprisingly, although I have loose skin (on my arms mostly).. my belly is fine.

You guys are too nice What did I do? When I first started I ate 1800 calories a day, I got stuck at 200lb for a while (life got in the way!), the last 40lb was all healthy eating, I loveee eating healthy so I'm sort of lucky in that way, I'm all about the fruit.. 1,300 calories a day, tracked it with LoseIt on my iPod... still eating 1,300 a day, down to 162.. Still have to lose this back fat and moobs! I might have to start working out!

I think I'm 5'11! Or 6'0

Nice one mate. But i think now u need to hit the gym and build some awesome muscles and eat a bit more calories =)
