Hellllllo there:)

I have missed this forum so much, but have been so so busy...

Im as fat as ever since I joined, I am now 16 stone 4 pounds, when I joined I was 17stone 5 pounds, I got down to 14 stone 10 pounds in Novemeber 2012, which I looked amazing at, but did not maintain this weight for long and not much has changed really....

I have graduated from college, did really well in my degree,so that is one good thing that has happened to me.

I am also planning on moving out as I have gotten a job ( nightmare and a half tying to get an apartment!! fingers crossed for me)

I am also still a single pringle ( thanks to my weight, and no confidence) Valentines is coming up and again a total reminder that I have never ever been in a relationship, and im 23!! ( SHOCKING I KNOW) I know I have a pretty face, and people always comment on how ' confident' I am, but I seriously am not. Guys are so shallow here, as if your a little porkie pie they are like 'no thanks', saying that though, if a guy comes up to me that I don't think is James Dean, I push them away..... what am I like??

I really want to change for the better, AND I WILL. If i dont, I wont get married and have a family.....which is my dream.

Welcome back! The fact that you're still giving it a go is positive, so remember that. We're in it for the long haul. You've done it, and you can do it again :). Don't disappear again!

Welcome back! :) I'll definitely be following your journey, as it is always motivating to talk to people who are in a similar situation as me. I don't know any overweight people, and I can't really discuss weightloss with "normal" people, haha. We are about the same age (I'm 21), and I am also about to graduate from university. It can be challenging, because as a student, you never feel like you have "time off" - at least I don't! Sometimes I feel like I shouldn't be filling my head with all these weight loss thoughts (sometimes it's all I think about), and instead focus completely on my studies, but this is something we NEED to do for our health. Good luck! :)

I've been eating kinda ( BAAADDD). Feel major depressed but a lot of changes have been going on in my life. I am moving into my new house next week and some MAJOR expenses are to be paid out before I get my first wages ( I get paid monthly aaaaahhh not fun)

Realised I defo need to eat good/healthy permanently. Had 3 mini episodes that made me realise this. EP 1-- got on bus the other day, and a friend I hadn't seen in ages looked at me like " girl u have put on so much weight" ( kind of embarrassing, when only a year ago he complemented me saying that I had, and I quote, " gotten so skinny". Ep 2- my aunt, who is very body obsessed, greeted me with subtly staring at my stomach for what seemed like a decade. Finally Ep 3- going shopping and realising that I have gained LOADS of weight, and looking like a humpty dumpty. Oh god guys, I am depressed:(

Anyway DAY 1 done and dusted:) Ate approx. 1500 cals and feeling good. My tooth is killing me though. Motivation to lose weight is ON. BIGTIME. I am going to be working in a city where there is a lot of people and I want to get on well, and in order for me to get on well I need to have confidence. Innnn order for me to get confidence, I need to lose weight. Its a vicious cycle

Stepped on the scales today. It read 16stone 9.5 pounds. Not good. NOT GOOD AT ALL.

Current height is 5ft 7inches.Current weight is 16 stone 9.5 pounds ( eeek). Goal weight: 10 stone:)

I am losing weight because my arms and stomach have a life of there own, and its a miserable life at that!! haha!! Also I want to marry and have a family, and I defo need to lose weight to do this as no one will have me at my current state. Amen.

I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but guys are shallow everywhere. We're pigs. We're shallow, immature, stupid pigs.

But, don't let that discourage you. Not ALL guys are like that. And, there WILL be a day where you find a guy that isn't a pig; a guy that will enjoy you for you, and not judge you on your looks, rather the person you are on the inside.

I've had a few boyfriends who were shallow (one dumped me because I gained weight), and I've had boyfriends who saw past the fat and saw me. Doesn't mean they weren't jerks xD, but my current boyfriend is by far the nicest man I've ever met. He tells me I'm beautiful almost every day, but I told him I have to see it first, and he understands that too. You'll find a man. I'm also in need of confidence, and this cycle needs to stop!

I'm gonna aim for at least 12lb by March 20th. I don't think I can lose 4lb a week xD but I can try!

I am only a couple of pounds away from being 17 stone which is horrific to me as that is the number I am terrified about. I don't know how I left myself go but I am looking in the mirror and all I see is FAT FAT FAT ARMS AND FACE.

I am actually so depressed coz I feel so ugly and unfit. I've had a hard month and a half with applying for jobs and going for interviews that I have completely neglected my diet and exercise. Also I have had a really tough 2 weeks for looking for accommodation!!!

I'm living with my aunt for a week and I am confined to eat her food! So instead of eating full portions I will only eat half of what she gives me! Better to do this than eat everything I spose!

Ate a lot better today than yesterday! Still though, didn't eat marvellous today! But every positive thing helps!!! I feel like such a whale lately! I'm kinda feeling sad coz when I look lately in the mirror, I see old Fat Me back:(:( must change for the better tho!

Currently living with the most ignorant people ever!! That is my cousins!! I'm moving out next week thank god! I've my first day of work tomorrow! Kinda nervous!!! Aaaahhhhhh, hope it goes well!!:)

Irish, I think you would really benefit from drinking diet soda. I have switched permanently, and it took a year, but now when I drink Coke it actually tastes REALLY weird to me. Coke Zero with lots of ice has helped avoid unnecessary calories, otherwise I'd be even worse off. Dare to challenge yourself, girl! If you cut out that sugar you'll feel better, and it can even help alleviate depression.

Good to hear about the job! You'll do great. Just be yourself and be positive!

I hope that once you move out you have a better go at the weight loss. It's not good when other people are a bad influence on you :(.

Noooo Irish!

Re-focus on your goals and try to commit to coming on the forum once a day. Even if it's right when you get up, or just before bed. Even if it's just to say good day, or good night! If you keep your mind on what you want, and what you can do, you might slip up less.

I only drink soda now if I go out for food, at home I drink water and Crystal Lite. Water drinks are so much better, and help with water retention.

Anyway day 3 of diet dooowwn. Yesterday I woke up in sweats and a temputure, pretty sure I have a cold!!

Day 4 of eating well :0 haven't done this well since October 2013. *touch wood don't want to jinx this*
Still sooooo sick though, I looked like a nightmare today in work!! Resting for the weekend, hopefully my sickness will go away:) fingers crossed

I try to eat 1200 cals per day, but only managed one of those four days at this goal, the others were around the 1400-1600 mark but still that's a lot better than the avg 4000 cals I was consuming before this!:/

Nope 10 stone is a healthy weight for my BMI as I am 5'7 in height. It actually is 22.6 which is healthy:) xx
 
I found that eating 1200 was too low, I kept giving up and binging. Now I shoot for 1300 - 1500, and I accept that 1500 is a good amount and will allow me to lose at least a pound. If you push too hard you might stop again.

Keep it up, and I hope you feel better soon :).
 
Day 6 of eating well and I feel AMAZING, as in so so so skinny. Super happy now :D

I ate 1256 cals today and did 50 squats!!:O I know I still cant believe it, my legs feel like they are broken:/ haha

I plan on eating really well tomorrow, and Tuesday, but Wednesday, Thursday I am going out....so my diet wont be the best!

You are so so so right Loch!!:):) I think for years I have been aiming too small! I mean I will still strive for 1200 but if I eat to 1300-1500 its still a good day!! Change the way you see things and the things you see will change:):)

Heello!! Long time, no post. I have been super busy. No excuses tho...

Anyway, basically I am now 16stone 13 pounds. eeeek... I was 16stone 4 pounds( 228pounds) at the start of 2014, and I am now 16stone 13pounds ( 237) pounds. This is a major NO NO NO... as I have gained a lot of weight since November 2012 ( I was 14stone 10 pounds ie...206 pounds)

Only good thing now is that I am walking loaaaaads per day as I walk to and from work ( which is about 80 mins in total) 5 days a week.

Tomorrow I will actually join the gym across from me!!! Have to serious shape up.

Also I have come to the realisation that I will never drink fizzy drinks again....and am also going to not consume sweeties as much!!!

Weigh in day is going to be Saturday so I will post results then.

Each week I will put up 2 main goals that I will stick with for the coming week. So for this week, I aim to drink 2.5 litres at least a day and go to the gym 3 times at least.:)

The cals I consumed today: 1400
40mins walking:249 cals roughly burned.
