213-159lbs Current - I'm almost there.

Update: 213 - 154.5lbs

I've been on this track for some time now starting over a year ago and losing a lot of weight very fast from dieting and exercising properly.

After maintaining a weight of 173 for over a year I really stopped caring again and let myself get to 182 and I almost died when I saw that number on the scale.

I refused to let myself ever do what I did to reach 213 and actually went cold turkey unlike the previous time when I slowly cut out the bad foods.

I'm currently doing cardio 5-7 times a week and do weights 2-4 times a week.

Anyways here are some pictures along my journey.

I only have one picture for now at my higher stage:

At first I was eating subway and panera a lot but then I started cutting out as much bread as possible.

The main thing i've been eating is grilled chicken and lots of water. I also eat in the morning egg beaters yokeless eggs which you can eat pretty much as much as you want. The main thing is to eat in portions and only when you need the food. You will eventually figure your body out and realize how much food you need a day and do not necessarily have to count your calories but just have an understanding of what you are feeding your body.

My secret to losing weight is not only for the opposite sex, but for the most important reason and that is to reduce my chances of disease, extend my life, and live a happier life.

I had completely cut out alcohol at first but now i'm stuck and keep drinking practically every day because there's always a bunch of people at my apartment every night.

I am going to cut alcohol out completely again except for one day a week now. Since i've been drinking again i've not put on a pound because I exercise and have been eating very well.

I run and play basketball a lot and since i'm so much lighter it is honestly really enjoyable going for a run.
 
I feel so much better and i'm a lot more agile and love playing sports more than ever. I am in the best shape of my life and it is so much easier to run and do pushups.

The best part is my stamina now compared to before and how much more comfortable I am as a person.
 
Hey man congrats... looking great and you sound like you're in really good physical shape as well.

Just curious how tall are you?
 
I'm 5'6, i'm in really good shape now.

I am hoping to tone my body and get rid of the fat that is left but that will happen in time. In the meantime i'm doing everything necessary to make my goals possible.
 
cool man it looks great. I want to get my body to look more like yours! Did you have any issues with loose skin?

I'm trying to figure out right where I want to be weight wise.. I'm 6ft and I'm getting comfortable with my new low weight of 184lbs, but I still have a gut.. and random patches of fat here and there... I want too loose them.. I'm trying to tone now too, but I feel I could stand to loose another 9lbs or so, yet other people are telling me I'm too thin.. and I need to not worry about loosing weight and worry about gaining muscle... I don't want to be bulky.. just thin and toned. Also the loose skin is driving me crazy...

Advice?

No loose skin from what I can tell, just still have a lot of very blubbery fat in my gut. It's looks like my stomache is full of water.

I had the same problem at first but i'm currently lifting weights 2-4 times a week and doing cardio 5-7 days a week. I'm not going to lie, my calorie intake is low some days because i'm trying to lose more weight.

I'm going to lose about 15-20 more pounds which seems like a lot and really I still have love handles and plenty of fat which seems to really only remain in my stomache. Once i'm happy with where i'm at i'm going to up my calorie intake and go back to protein shakes which I used to drink to restore myself after a workout.

My workouts right now are merely to keep me from losing muscle mass while losing weight.

I'm down to 157 now. My first goal that I set about a year and a half ago was 154 so i'm 3lbs away, but my next goal will be to reach 145.

The last pounds really are the hardest and don't seem like they want to ever come off!

Great Job Jashton. You look so much better. I am just now down to your starting weight from 265lbs but I am still going. Can I ask how tall you are? I hope to be looking as good as your current pictures in the future. Keep up the good work, and keep us updated.
