200lbs to go

It feels like it's been a really long day, probably due to working looming tomorrow night. But then at least that does mean that thurs weigh in is nearly here... eek.

I still have to get 1,500steps in to hit my 10,000 target so I need to def off from here to get some pacing in whilst watching Brothers & Sisters.

My mother loves that show!! lol Isnt it good? Its so awesome .. I love Grays Anatomy and Desperate Housewives .. only real tv I watch ..other than the Weather Channel and Fox News ..

dont worry about the gain ..just think .. it might not be as bad as you are imaging and there is always the weigh in after that ... you can do this!

Hi all

Went to weigh in last night, I've managed to lose 1.5lb since monday night! so not too bad, hopefully can get more off by monday night and then again on Thurs... at least with a 4 day check in it should keep me focused!

And then I'll go back to 1 weigh in a week, I'm still not 100% into it but I'm sure it will pass, I'm just trying to stuff as much free food in as possible and next week I've already told chris I'll be eating with the kids which will make it easier, so I have time to work in the garden... hopefully the weather will hold out, but right now we've been forecast snow tomorrow with some really helpful arctic winds.

Now the poser is... what do I want for tea? mmm
 
Poser of the day... do I go to weigh in tonight and she how I've done since thursday or do I wait until thursday night and then hopefully get a bigger number?

I have no idea and currently feel a bit stuck, gaining that 5lb seems to have knocked me more than I thought it would, argh it feels soo bad, usually the
1st stone/2st stone is easier to shift than this one has been, I've been battling it now for over 2 years (not including 9months of pregnancy).

Between that and having to garner what I'm eating just so I can take some cough syrup and still lose weight, it's either that or cough myself into another asthma attack and vomiting session... soooo annoying and not people friendly.
 
Well done on your 1.5 pound loss. That is brilliant!

I would go today and then Thursday. If you get a loss today it may encourage you that your hard work is paying off. If you dont get a loss it may motivate you to be more strict with yourself. I would have a terrible time if I couldnt weigh every day.

You may get some form of motivation from the class too. Anyway its a good excuse for getting out of the house and putting yourself first ahead of the family.

As far as the cough syrup goes - my doctor told me that you are better off squeezing some lemon in hot water and stirring in some honey. It is a soothing drink the lemon provides vitamin C and has anticeptic properties and the honey is a natural mild antibiotic. It may be worth giving that a try.

Well done on keeping up the walking whenever possible. It works for me.

I am taking it easy now as I have just had an op on my tummy. We will be able to compare tummy scars!
