200lbs to go

Today is a much better day! Although so far I have only had 2 mugs of coffee, not so good I have however cooked tea for tonight, and half constructed tomorrow night's tea for after weigh in!

And for a change the house is remotely tidy, this organising to fit work in must actually be good for me! Yeah right he hehehe! Must remember at some point to buy some onions!

Have had the eldest boy painting his easter bonnet entry this morning, which he has made from paper mache, I'm soooo pround only mininmal paint went on him and in his mouth, hence the lapse in eating breakfast, at least it means I can eat more in the office tonight, when I get bored, but with the size of the mixed bean chilli I have made I doubt I will need to!

(note to self try not to !!!! quite so much! doh;p)

Just have to get friday food sorted now, in my head i'm thinking pasta salad that I can construct in the office so it doesn't go soggy and cereal for good measure and fingers crossed the fruit trolley is still existance, but saying that the fruit shop isn't exactly miles away more sort of 500m, the town I work in is that small, I am however debating the merits of a bacon sandwich from the bakery every now and again to join in on the sandwich run but I've not decided about that yet I'll judge it later on.

Now that I have garbled for England, my jkt and beans should be ready.

yum yum yum:hurray:

It's just 5 hours to weigh in, I'm feeling rather hopeful as it has been another good food week, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything, and but I've had a big dinner to put me on until after weigh in...

It was my first night back at work and surprisingly it went really well and I didn't get bored once, I actually found it fun, lets see if that lasts during the 11hour friday that I have coming up.

Now I just need to keep busy to take my mind of the upcoming day and a half... which should be doable I have a son that needs to do some sticking.

Hey it's over for another week! And I lost another 2lb hazzar! :hurray:

I am currently considering putting my scales away at home and not getting any others to replace them, I rather enjoyed the feeling of finding out at class, instead of having a vague idea.

So another week begins here! And at the moment I'm actually looking forward to it again, I just have to work something out so I don't keep getting really nervous on a Thursday afternoon, possibly cooking stuff for the freezer.

Hi!
Congratulations on your continued losses at the scales! keep doing what you are doing - it is paying off! Don't kick yourself for not doing it sooner - just consider how much better you will look and feel one year from today!

Best wishes on your journey

I did it, I really actually did it, I lost 2lb tonight and got my stone award at bloomin last I have now started to lose 'new' weight a kind of unchartered waters it's almost exciting!

Just need to avoid the fish and chips that usually come with Good Friday, then again I could always make my own... ooh that's an idea, and some mushy peas... and then I'm off again! woo hoo!

Tab x:party:

Argh, yesterday started well I even made my fish and chips instead of going to the chip shop, and then I seemed to snap and shove anything that had a certain amount of sugar into my body and my tea it seemed that nothing mattered any more and out came the garlic bread and creamy pasta sauce.

But today is a new day and I must put this major blip behind me and get back on track for the rest of the week so I don't lose my 1st award again, which is what seems to be happening at the moment.

Argh and grr, and hubster is nack all support with it either, currently huffing whilst I am on the pc but it's about the only place that doesn't send me straight to the kitchen!

:banghead:

We all hide from food by coming to the forum. You are not alone.

Congratulations on your continued weightloss and your stone award. It is always good when your efforts and achievements are noticed and rewarded - as if the sight of yourself with noticeably less weight is not reward enough.

I am sorry that your hubby was in a less supportive frame of mind as you posted. If it makes you feel any better - I suspect that all men get into the frame of mind when they want to play computer games. My hubby seems to have been playing computer games all this Easter weekend.

I hope that Easter went well for you.

Take care
Love

Hi Margaret,

Thanks for stopping by, in general easter was good, the boys got loads of chocolate, thankfully some of my family gave them some money so there could have been more.

Foodwise Friday and Saturday were dire, Sunday wasn't too bad until I ate a huge tube of mini eggs but yesterday went really well, I even went leafleting for my SW consultant, that's 135 houses with very long paths for just my road... and it was kid free time, however hubster did originally want me to take at least one of them with me... as if I don't see enough of them when he is at work... I never thought I would say this but I can't wait to go to work on Friday and have a child free day, yikes I need a break.

Only 2 sleeps until weigh in and I'll see how badly I did this weekend, I'm hoping to rein in some of the damage in the next couple of days, so it's in with the quorn and weetabix!

:biggrinjester: Hey Tabitha! Congrats on your losses to date! You sound very busy at the moment, and it really is hard to lose when you don't get enough sleep. If this week doesn't produce the results you are wanting, tweak things next week so that you DO have success. Planning ahead can be very, very helpful so you aren't left with a nasty diet of chocolate bars (but oooooooh do they sound yummy...).

Best wishes on your continued journey - YOU ROCK!

Ginger Noodles are either boiled egg noodles or spaghetti coated in a 'sauce' of 1.5/2 cups chicken stock, some dark soy sauce, 1 inch fresh ginger grated, and a handful of chopped scallions, if you like them some toasted seasame seeds go down well! Great with stir fry but I also like them cold on their own with a bit of cumin in the sauce for some background spice.

Abba

This going back to work followed by Easter has knocked me for six along with 2 teething babies, sleep isn't something that happens much, or at least not when I want to. Between that and the hubby any organisation that I used to have went out of the window!

Hello all

You know it's time to get back on the wagon, when you actually start craving fruit and vegetables and roast dinners!

So as it was the husbands shop this morning he had the task of buying loads of fruit and veg that he won't eat... that must annoy him a fair bit

So this is it, back on track again... and weigh in on thurs

Well my time off the wagon has come back and bit me on the ass I gained 5lb I disappeared off this evening to a different SW class, but I won't be altering my ticker until thursday after I've been to my regular weigh in as that will be a 'true reading' as such...

It's not the best of outcomes, but I have now faced it and it's time to move on, I have another weigh in session on thursday which is 3 sleeps away so I can put in some work and then see what happens.

I may double up classes next week as well to see me through my 1 stone curse.. I have to break it and get to my 1.5 stone or even 2 stone (28lb) it's getting silly now.

We had a talk about motivation and goals and if a goal isn't tangiable then it isn't the right goal for you... right now I think that is my main problem... I can't think of a specific single goal, I want so much from losing my weight that it puts pressure on me and I go in the wrong direction.

Tab x

For me, I've had the same problems with goals, not just with weight though, but everything in my life. I got in such a slump about not having made any of my long term goals happen that I just stopped doing anything at all. I literally sat around all day doing nothing, which is no life to live. So I started making daily goals to do small things each day, like a load of laundry, or a certain amount of calories, or to have a walk, just goals for that day, and when I did complete them I began to feel better.

Maybe you should try to look at making much shorter term goals like that, so there's less room for unrealistic expectations.

I am sorry that things have been going a bit off track for you. Two teething babies, hardly any sleep and coping with having recently returned to work must be taking it out of you in every direction.

We all have times when we go off track - but we set ourselves apart because we pick ourselves up and refocus and get back on track again.

Maybe your hubby could help out a little more so that you are able to have a break and maybe catch up on your sleep a little. I certainly feel ill if I havent had enough sleep.

Abbagirl (Janice) came up with a great suggestion with the planning. She has a couple of kids of her own and works and I am sure that she will have faced many of the tiredness issues that you are facing. We know that if only we are organised enough to eat healthily our bodies get the kind of fuel that it really wants and we are generally able to cope with things better. Planning to eat healthily could benefit you in more ways than just weight loss - you could actually function better.

I hope that things improve for you.

Take care
Love

Your right, sometimes its hard to focus on goals. One Goal is to be healthier... and you can think on that. Think of all the things you will be able to do by losing weight. Picture yourself thin...

One of the things my book says is "Eat like a thin me"

Well I hope you find your focus :)

best wishes
