2 topics; supplements and abs

Hello all, I'm new to the forums. My Name is Jarritt. I work out about 5 or six times a week.
Ok so I'm 21 and a college student. I love to party (I'm always smart and responsible about it) and I drink beer. Is there any way to get a six pack (I go on spring break March 3) while still goin out and have 2-3 beers every week or so?

oh yea my stats are 6'1 195 with a muscular build. the most i've bench pressed is 5 reps of 235 but i've never maxxed out.
I've noticed that I keep working out but don't make any more progress. I've never taken protein shakes, but i;d like to start. SHould I look into other supplements as well? My goal is to get a six pack, so should i not drink protein shakes? I read about this new thing called endothil, and i was thinking about trying that, but i dunno the first thing about supplements. Does anyone have any horror stories or good stories and suggestions? Thanks!

Absolutely. There is nothing wrong with having a treat now and then. Are you someone who tends to hold fat in your stomach, or elsewhere? If you tend to hold fat in your stomach it will be harder to get that 6 pack, and to getting there may require you to go down to a body fat level that you're body wouldn't be happy with. Our bodies like to maintain a healthy level of body fat.
A good exercise program, and most importantly an excellent nutrition program will help those abs start to pop out. Nothing wrong with drinking protein shakes, but you don't need to if you don't want to. A lot of people find it a quick and easy source of lean protein.
I've neer heard of that supp, so I can't comment. I'll have to look in to it.
Sarah
