2 a days :(

Hey guys i didnt no where to post this so i posted here.....Anyways my football team is starting two a days again :( , 8-10 30 min lunch then 10:30 to 12:30. I was wondering what would be a good lunch to eat in between the practices, Im a lineman so i need something that will make me last all day in 95 + weather. What would be good to eat for breakfast or the night before practice? Thanks for the help, clark
 
I would shoot for oatmeal and a protein source in the morning and for your lunch, fruit and protein. You'll need the carbs. Stay away from the gatorade as much as possible and drink a ton of water...2 a days are notorious for heat stroke and exhaustion.
 
to me those damn two-a-day's are a simple case of over-training. I guess the only purpose of those are to see if the kids really want to play football but I just don't feel that they are ethical. I guess if it pays off and you end up in the NFL then it's not overtraining then lol I agree with evo though get your carbs and good luck with your season
 
Some are good, some are bad (depends on the ingredients).
