Umm a bit of an update...

I'm really enjoying my treadmill. it's allowing me to get in several extra hours of excersize per week as well as excersize on the weekends that i never got before. I'm starting to try to amp it up a bit. I've been walking at a very comfortable 1.5 KM/hr for usually about half an hour at a time... today i had it at 2 Km which was definately out of my comfort zone, just short of jogging,:auto: and had me sweating within the first 5-10 minutes.soon i'll start running a few minutes here and there. I'm trying to remember not to take it too fast, it has been SEVERAL years since i've ran for more then a few seconds and I hear it's not a good idea to push yourself too far too fast.

I do have to refocus my attention to my strength training, i've been slacking a little. just barely getting in my hour for the challenge this week so i need to remember to keep that up at least 3 or 4 days a week...

I wan't to focus a little more on actually practicing some yoga instead of the just few poses i do on wii fit. so I'm looking into getting some DVD's I can do a few days a week since i have no time for an actual class... I'm just hoping to get something of decent quality... I dont like half ass concepts, I want something very thourough and descriptive to help get the full feeling and mindset.

I'm doing pretty well with my calorie counting, however i did have a day yesterday where i got up to 2000, my original max:eek:. so today i decided to try to counter that with a 1500 calorie intake today.

I do want to tighten up WHAT i'm consuming a bit... I feel I've been a litt TOO free with myself... basically right now I have myself set where i'll eat ANYTHING as long as it's under my max calorie limit.:lurk5: so that means i can have a chocolate bar or chips or ANYTHING i want EVERY DAY, as long as it fit within my limits... and that just doesn't seem quite right:ack2:... i dont think i could let go of my night time treat just yet... but perhaps i should stick to the caramel rice cakes and other rice cake treats...

Anywho, those is me thoughts for the week :D
 
despite being in the middle of my period i did weigh in another pound down at 197.2... progress is steady just the way I like it!!
 
I'm thinking that your treadmill has to be on miles per hour. 2 km per hour is only 1.2 miles per hour.
 
It very well could be... i've been trying to figure this out for a while lol... maybe i just walk slow... i do have very short legs lol... all i know is 1.5 is comfortable 2.0 is fast and 2.5 has me jogging... outside of that i have no idea... lol it doesnt help that i have no concept of distance, let alone the difference between miles an kilometers... i just figured since i'm in Canada the treadmill company might cater to that but probably not lol

Ya be careful--you're dieting so you need all the nutrient-dense foods you can get! Stick to calcium and iron rich, protein-laden things!

Defionately agree... it's just by the end of the day i'm only at 1500 Calories for the day so i'm like hmm chocolate bar or rice cakes for a snack... :S lately the chocolate and chips have been winning... i blame my husband for having them in the house. in such abundance at that... but yeh i'm going to try to start keeping my nighttime snacks down to popcorn rice cakes and salads... stuff like that..
 
well today has been just f-ing wonderful so far... i've spent the entire morning arguing with my 4 year old to hurry up and eat her breakfast, by the time she finished breakfast it was lunch time!
then as i was undressing myself and my son I realized he dropped one of his boots on the way home from dropping my daughter off and ended up having to just about run all the way back to the school and get it (on the up side that is and extra 10 minutes or so of a walk shortened by a run).
Finally just as i shut the door, my daughters new bedframe that i had propped up behind it fel into my ankle creating an instant swollen bruise... nice... It hurt almost as bad as the pot lid i dropped on my toes yesterday :banghead:
I don;t think it will affect my ability to excersize, but i'm thinking i'm going to take my only quiet time of the day and use it to just chill out for a bit instead...
 
stepped on the scale this morning since i was naked anyways and was shocked to see 196.8... usually my weight is higher in the morning then in the afternoon when I actually take the numbers... It's only 4 ounces and honestly is probably all water weight since i havent been drinking as much as usual the last couple of days (out of water bottles and just can't seem to drink as much without them)... but yeah it was just a shocker so I thought i'd share:seeya:
 
I always take my official weight first thing in the morning. I figure it's the most consistent part of the day.
 
I would, if i didnt sometimes weigh 5 lbs more first thing in the morning... for some reason a few hours after i've been up and moving around my weight drops significantly... not sure why... but i do make a point to weigh myself at the same time every day for consistency
 
so i stepped on my scale this afternoon before my shower and saw 195... im skeptical since my water intake has been rather shallow the last few days and i'm sure it's just water weight... so until it's been a few days where ive been drinking water properly i refuse to change my ticker
 
So I've definately been drinking more water again and my weight still sits at 195 so i'm going to say i got that in the bag... it may have been water weight at the time and i just cought up with it but who knows I'm taking it:sifone:
so far in the 6 week challenge i've gone down 8.4 lbs... not sure i see where it's comming from but i'll assume it has to be comming from somewhere (definately not my hips :ack2:)
I also set up another challenge with wii fit to lose 10 lbs in 2 months and less then a month laster i only have like 3 lbs to go so that is sweet. Wii fit his this bar when you weight in that show underwheight, normal, overweight and obease... well i have been stuck at the top of that bar since i got it on october... well it's no longer maxed out at the top of obease, it's finally comming down a bit which feels pretty nice... lol i can't wait to just be overweight lol
 
So I guess it's been decided that I'm no longer going to take the birth controll pill since every time I stop taking it i seem to rock the scale... not to mention I noticed it killing my sexdrive which just isn't good for my health... i don't know about anyone elses health but definately not good for mine lol

I have a baby shower to go to march 1st where i'm about to see a bunch of friends i have rarely seen since highschool and definately havent seen since this time last year! so... I'm hoping i can take this nearly 3 pound loss i saw this week and replicate it for the next 3 weeks... despite my 25 lb loss I havent heard any comments about my weight from anyone so I'm really hoping SOMEONE will see a difference... after all, this weight had to of come from somewhere...
I'm not one to fish for compliments or anything I just want someone who doesn't necessarily know I'm trying to lose weight to say "hey have you lost weight?"... i'd just like to know that all my efforts are actually visable to someone...
