18st 7 to 15stone !!!

turned 40 in November....and have put the weight on over last 10 yrs really...

got lazier and lazier over the years but really not happy with how I look or feel at the moment!

decided this is the start of something .....

problems:
Im lazy!....really lazy....find excuses all the time to not excercise....
Large portion sizes....I definetly eat too much....
Sweet tooth....love chocolates and sweets!

So to try and fix....
doing the couch to 5k....I used to be an avid sportman and dont mind running so hopefully ...doing the 30 - 45 min run every cpl of days wont be too much of a shock to the system

A food diary....try and keep an eye on what I eat....
I dont often have the sweets and chocs in the house....learnt really that if its there I will eat it!

I have a Gym membership but think ill start a bodyweight exercise regime in the house for now...

hopefully kick start a bit of a change and see how it goes
im 6ft 3...so would like to hit 15stone by the summer....

Ok 10 days in...weighed myself yesterday

5lb loss...happy with that

have done three 5 k runs @ 45 mins a run....in that time ....and reduced my calorie intake by cutting down on fizzy drinks (NON)...and chocolates!....and made myself a chicken and lentil curry...which i froze and ive eaten every few days.....

will up the excercise in a week or so to be running every other day...

upped my runs to every other day..

ankles a bit sore yesterday and a bad day of pizza and some chocolate today...

get back on the horse tomoz!!!!

still eating better with less rubbish not doing well on portion size...

target to keep excercising....5k every other day (30 - 40 min jog)....some walking some jogging....building up to 40 min straight run

also count my calories or points...(seems ot much hassle at the moment but i know i will need to do something to track food!)
