Thank you :) i've decided to go to the gym tonight as my chest seems fully better :) i will take it pretty easy as it's my first time there. I'm going to concentrate on the bikes and the rowing machine tonight I think.
I stepped on the scales and somehow i've put 3 quarters of a pound on :/ I'm sure it must be water or something because I have eaten clean all day yesterday. Yesterday I even resisted doughnuts and muffins that were provided by work!
Today's food diary:
Bbreakfast: beans, 2 mini slimming world muffins (spring onion, chopped bacon medallion, 1 egg and mushrooms), 1 wholemeal toast with 100ml apple juice and water.

Lunch: I made some wraps using just one beaten egg last night and they turned out pretty well (although i've not tasted them yet) i'll have 2 wraps with half a bacon medallion and a hashbrown (grilled) in each with a little tomato sauce. 2 oranges.

Pregym snack: 1 warburtons thin with peanut butter and chopped banana.

Dinner: 3 HEK chicken sausages with mashed potato and gravy :)
 
Hey Feel Good, going gym for first time must be exciting,so are you going to use treadmill too with rowing machine and bikes? Because if I would start going to gym I would love to use them.dont worry about those 3 quarter of a pound that must be water, hope you will see a healthy weight loss tomorrow. kudos for resisting those doughnuts and muffins I don't know why my friends are offering me more treats now while I am on weight loss then before when I was not.
 
Mm i love those heck sausages - the chicken italia ones are amazing. Once I've finished my veggie month I'll be ordering loads! although think they do some veggie stuff now?
 
First day at the gym...
So i thought i'd write a quick post about how my first gym session went. I walk around a mile to get to the gym so by the time i got there my legs feel pretty warmed up and I was focussing on my legs today :) I spent just 1 hour at the gym as my partner is unwell and I didnt want to ober-do it. I spent the hour on the bikes and burned 300 calories which i was ok with as every little helps :) I felt a little awkward at first as everyone in the gym was clearly smaller than me and all were able to run on the treadmills etc. I felt a few eyes following me but I didnt let that bother me as at least im making positive changes to my lifestyle and trying to lose weight :) Anyway all in all I did enjoy being in the gym environment and I think it will give me a good opportunity to destress and clear my head after work innstead of bringing the problems of my clients home with me :)
 
I don't feel guilty around food anymore and I am starting not to feel that adrenaline rush/anxiety when I am around food. The voice in my head is still there but now when i eat its saying "it is ok to eat this. This is healthy"
That is really good FG & is a great attitude to have around food. Food is nutrition or Food is my medicine are good mantras to have in your mind.

I'm glad your 1st gym experience was a good one. People always check out someone new & most will be thinking "good for you".Any that aren't are not worth worrying about. I am enjoying seeing the positive changes you are making in your life. You will go from strength to strength. Weight fluctuates so much & I would try to only weigh once a week if you can. Day 17 - feeling achey!
My legs feels a little achey but not uncomfortabley so. I think the extra water i drank didnt pass through until around 3am because i was up in the night a few times for the toilet which was a little fristrating. I'm going to the gym again today (hopefully with my partner if she can be bothered and if she is well enough).
Food diary:
Breakfast: 2 chocolate wheatabix and skimmed milk

Lunch: 2 slimming world mini muffins (1 egg, spring onion, a mushroom and a bacon medallion) with spaghetti hoops and an avocado, blueberry, strawberry and spinach smoothie.

Pre-gym snack:
Ricecake woth peanut butter and a banana

Dinner: 3 HEK chicken sausages and sweet potato mash :)
 
Yesterday's dinner was amazing! I loved it! I went to the gyn again last night and enjoyed it - plus i dont ache this morning. Woo!
Today's food:
Breakfast: 1/2 tin of baked beans on toast. Orange

Lunch: soup and a warburtons thin. Banana

Dinner: lean in 15 turkey mince burger on a warburtons thin :) with 3 potato smiles and sweetcorn.

Today's weigh in: +1.5 lbs. No idea how!
 
So i've not written in a little while. I thought i'd check in to let you guys know that i'm still healthy eating and still losing weight! Since my post last week i've lost 5.7lbs which i'm happy with. I have also purchased some weights and i am going to the gym regularly :) i'm still determined to change my life and make it longer!
 
Hey all, just thought i'd check in and let yoi guys know that I'm still going strong! yesterday was my weigh day for week 5 and so far i've lost 31lbs. Super happy with that :) You guys can follow my journey on instagram: eat_run_write_repeat
 
thank you LaMaria! I feel better than ever and always eat when i'm hungry between meals :) just cut out all of the crap except one takeaway meal per week and one meal out per week - so i'm still having plenty of treats!
