Basically, I used to have a PT that I worked out with for about a year until last December. I mainly did calisthenic (?) exercises with some weights here and there in the routines. She always changed up the routines but kept some exercises throughout my entire time with her. The problem was that I didn't gain muscle and stayed relatively skinny and gained very little muscle, basically enough to show abs and some pecs. Now I'm 17, 6 foot and 140-145 pounds and want to go from being skinny and relatively out of shape to fit and athletic. I never really watched my diet while with her so I think that had a lot to do with my body not changing much. I'm looking for some tips on diet and a good basic routine I can start out with. Any help is really appreciated!
