140lb/60kg - wishes pic update

Dear Wishes,

I am new, first day. How did you lose it and how long did it take?

You have done wonderfully and I have almost the exact amount of weight to lose as you did.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Hi wishes, your weightloss and before and in between pics are truly inspiring to a lot of us and are a wonderful way for us to remind ourselves that we can do it too. So thanks for posting these pics. Keep up the great work.

Took about a year. Started out with large losses, goes smaller as i got smaller. Now the last few are hard to loose.
1) I cannot stress this enough, but diet diet diet diet diet. Its not what you eat, its how many calories (trust me, i ate KFC, indian etc lol).
2) Do weights if you can, high weights, low repetitions (builds stregnth not bulk this way).
3) Find your weaknesses or triggers, avoid them or find work arounds.
4) 1 Day screw up doesnt screw up a diet, take each day at a time :)

And now to give a breif update. Ive lost another 10lb since these pics. I have about another 20 before im happy.
About 155lb is my goal (Im heavy from muscle rather than fat now)

Congrats on 10 more lbs gone, you are one of the main reasons I joined this site wishes. =] I saw your pics and was like wow! I wish I could do that:D Thanks so much for your story and progress pics.. I am sure they have the same affect on other people :hug2:
