Ok so here's hoping this is third time lucky with a diary. I can't explain why I'm finding this so hard at the moment. I feel like I have developed an obsession with food. It seems like all I think about and I just can't seem to stop eating. It's getting out of control. I feel huge, I'm disgusted with myself and I feel podgy like all wobbly and stuff. I've met some great people here who are soooo helpful and encouraging and motivating but still I just can't seem to shake this compulsion I have with food. I think part of my problem is that sometimes I like to feel full, like not full to the point I feel sick, but just full but when I'm on a diet, although I dont' feel hungry, i'm not full so I want to keep eating until I am. Never ending cycle. :banghead:
Soooo previous attmepts at weight loss diary's have failed. Those of you that know me will probably be thinking 'not another one' lol but this time I have an incentive. I have booked my summer holidays. I go in 138days time belive it or not lol!
For those of you who do not know me, my name is Yvonne and I am 30yrs old. At my heaviest weight I was 18stone. What really made me loose weight the 1st time was going on holiday and having to get a special seat belt (you know the ones they give to pregnant people) cos the standard one did not fit and I swore to myself that that would never happen to me again. So i lost 4stone. I now weigh 16stone so i've put two back on but need to kirb this obsessive eating before I weigh 18stone (or more) again.

Sooooo like i say third time lucky, I have an incentive now so if this fails then I am at a loss at what to do next - maybe hypnotherapy hmmmmmmmmm
 
Hi! Well done on getting back on the bandwagon! You've lost a tonne of weight before (4 stone....wow, well done you)! So you know you can do it again.

What helps me resist food is knowing that the scales might go down the next day if I can get rid of cravings. It's hard, but totally worth it when you see that smaller number!

Good luck! When I know I am going to start a new diet plan I always eat so horribly before I start like the foods going to disappear from this world or something. I think it takes a while to get anything down. I have found it starts with 1 day of perfect eating and challenging yourself to do more. :)
 
Sorry guys for being a bit quiet. Just right after I posted this I have been run down with the worst cold/flu I've had in ages :0( booooo!! I still feel a little unwell but I've taken a few days off work to get over it but I have been going to the gym also so i am back. It's now only 126 days til my holiday :0)

So yesterday my weight was 15st 12lbs (100.6kg or 222lbs)

Breakfast = 1 small banana - 90kcal
Lunch = sandwich made with 2 slices brown bread, 5 slices of wafer thin turkey and 5 slices of cucumber. - 221kcal
Snack = 50g pineapple + 2 strawberry's + 2 tablespoons of muller light fat free vanilla yogurt - 107
Dinner = Garlic mushrooms with green beans rice and a wholemeal pitta bread = 580

Total calories = 998

Excercise = 5k run in 48mins 46secs burning 345 calories and a 15min cross train burning 149 calories = total calories burned = 494

I am so glad I have gotten back into the swing of things :0)

Hi again guys

Today I'm feeling a little sluggish. My throat is kinda sore and my sinuses a bit heavy feeling so my cold is not getting any better boooo!
The muscles in my stomach are sore as are the muscles in my back. I'm happy though cos it's the muscles in my upper stomach that are sore - you know where your muffin top is - I hate my muffin top grrrrrr. So hopefully this running will help.

So today I have had the following -

Breakfast - 1 small banana = 90kcal
Lunch = 1 small tin of heinz chicken soup with 2 slices of brown bread with a little butter = 445kcal
Dinner = 1 medium baked potato with heinz baked beans + salad = 580kcal

Total calories = 1115kcal

excercise = 3.12k run in 32mins 9secs whilst on an incline so climbed 20metres doing this run today burning 304kcal + a 20min bike ride burning 145kcal.
Total calories burned today = 449

Struggled today at the gym - don't know if it's due to my cold or because I only ran yesterday or because normally I run with no gradient on the treadmill where today I was running at an incline - probably a combanation of all of the above.
No running at the gym tomorrow and will do something else instead :0)

Aw sorry to hear you're feeling under the weather. Take it easy on yourself until you fully recover!

I hate my muffin top too :rofl: i'm sure it will eventually go away - fingers crossed anyway!

Thank you Stacey - glad to be back and into the swing of things. The two things I hate most about my body is my awful muffin top and my chunky calfs grrrrrrrrrr

So how are you getting on? Don't you think the weather we've been having has been lovely?
 
ONLY 125 DAYS TO GO! :party:

So today I feel sooo much better just a little groggy but otherwise much much better - the few days off work to get over the cold has certainly done the trick - WOOHOO!!!!

So i have worked out that the 125 days til my holiday = 17weeks so if I aim to try and lose 2lb a week that equals 2stone 4lb according to my calculations. So this is my goal :0)

Breakfast - 30g cornflakes with semi skimmed milk = 175kcal
Lunch - cous cous salad - 245kcal - and it was delicious yummy!
Dinner - vegeterian jambalaya - it was also lush :0) = 364kcal
Snack - 50g fresh pineapple + 2 strawberries + 2 tablespoons of muller light fat free vanilla yogurt = 107kcal

Total calories = 891

So far excercise wise i have done 30mins of toning excercised ie lunges etc and am just about to go for an hour walk. It's not very nice outside but after not having any fresh air for 3days I think the walk will do me good. :hurray:

ONLY 123 DAYS TO GO!!

So the past two days have not went so well at all.
Yesterday I had the following:
Breakfast - banana
Lunch - sandwich made with brown bread, 5slices wafer thin turkey and 5 slices cucumber
Snack - Pineapple, strawberries and muller light yogurt
Snack - Apple
This is where it all starts to go wrong.
Met my brother in the pub after work since i've not seen him since xmas I then had 4 glasses white wine, 2 poppadoms with mango chutney, mushroom pakora, lamb jalfrezzi and a bit of garlic nan eeeeekkkk

Then today:
Breakfast - 2 pan au chocolat's
Lunch: ckn & bacon sandwich + bag of walkers crisps
Snacks: another bag of crisps a yum yum + crusty roll and pate :banghead:


Soooo back to square one - just as well I made a decision to weigh myself every 2 weeks instead of every week so I may find that I can still get a result on my 1st weight in x

We just booked a hol too! We are going in July. Where are you going? What are you planning to pack?

I'm so jealous of the indian night! Oh,I miss it and cant get it where I live now,only when I visit my home country. And as for the booze, me and my hubby have sushi and a few drinkies on a friday night, hey we all need a treat right? Just always wake up and get back on track.

Oh thank you so much - how are you? I'm going to morrocco for two weeks. I was doing sooo well until I did that lol! But it was my brother that was visiting and I haven't seen him since xmas so it's allowed right? I'm not sure what i'm planning to pack. We're going earlier in the year than we would normally go and it's probably gonna be real warm but i've also heard as it's a muslim country that females are required to kinda cover up so haven't decided although I would like some new summer clothes in a smaller dress size :0)
What about you? Where are you going? It's real exciting. I'll look forward to hearing how your getting on. Keep in touch x
