I'll take a nutcracker. Anybody from the NYC hood? I doubt others would've heard of it but its strong, sweet and probably damn fattening. No wonder I didn't lose any weight last summer! I'll have to bring some wine to the beach this year instead.
 
nutcracker? sounds painful! I dont generally drink, but if i do its strictly top shelf. Often a friends home made bourbon or what evers in his still that week (he brews for taste rather than alcohol content, unlike some people :D)
 
Once again...I have drawn you all into a converstation about booze...mmmooooohhhoohaaahaa (in my best Dr Eeeeeevil laugh).

I thought about having a beer last night, but I didn't. I limited my snacking last night, even though I was still hungry after dinner. I had 4 stoned wheat crackers with a little cheese and a handful of almonds. I was quite proud of myself, I could have seriously eaten a whole pizza last night.

On the scale this morning just for the hell of it...211.4...the effort is starting to pay off...175 here I come!!!

That is great to hear - im proud of you and mostly that you were proud of yourself that is a great feeling!!!
 
I wanted to comment here but I don't drink beer or booze. :p I'm one of those teetotalers.

Well they are just empty calories so maybe your better of than the rest of us. If I didn't drink any beer I'd be shaving off a lot of calories.

Thanks cinderelly...I wanted to have one again last night, but I didn't. I'll be having a few drinks on Monday night, so I wanted to cut that stuff out over the weekend - too many calories.

I ate ok yesterday too. We did have pizza for lunch at work, but other than that I did well. I also had ice cream for dessert last night, but I haven't really had many treats this week (other than the few pints I had).

I made some spaghetti squash last night with dinner and since I was making a bunch of stuff in the oven, I decided to bake the squash too. Man, that thing took FOREVER to cook.
 
So I just got back from my first road ride of the season (actually first ride since about September) and ooooohhhh man am I sore.

After being off a bike for that long, man that seat was killing me 30min into the ride. And to top it all off, my neck has been just killing me for the past 3 days, so every bump in the road I felt in my crotch and my neck. OUCH. That was the most painful 1hr15min ride I have ever had. I think I will crawl into the fetal position (if it doesn't hurt my neck too much) and have a nap...damn...

Otherwise a good ride though...looking forward to getting out next Saturday (I probably won't be able to sit on a bike seat until then).

I wanna know what kinda bike you are talking abt - like a bicycle exercis riding bike or a hog - LOL...Im totally assuming you are talkin exercise but the vision of you on the back of a hog is a nice one :):):) I need to actually start riding my bike...exercise that is - I wanna learn how to ride a hog as well within time - the more this weight comes off the more adventurous I seem to become...

Yes...I suppose I could do that ;) ...but I don't think it would help a whole lot...might be kinda fun though!

Strictly pedal power for me. Maybe I'll get a motorcycle one day (never ridden one before and so I don't have a motorcycle licence)...maybe it'll be part of my mid-life crisis plan.

Today we had pizza for lunch again...damn it. And tonight its dinner and bar food and many pints. Today I'm just going to enjoy myself. Tomorrow, it's back to business.
 
Oh yeah...almost forgot...I had weighed myself on Thursday or Friday and I was 211.4 - this morning it was a nice even 211. I may even break 210 by next week - that's exciting stuff.:D :D

Rough morning

We had our end of busy season party last night and it was great. I drank too much. I am hungover. And the pain in my neck kept me awake a lot of the night. So now I am literally hurting all over.

The 10 pints I had last night seemed like a good idea at the time...oh well, I brought that on myself obviously. Food wasn't too bad last night - not the deep fried festival I thought it would be (the only thing deep fried was the spring rolls). But with that much alcololic calories, not sure it made too much of a difference.

So now I'm waiting for this neck thing to go away so that I can get back to working out. I think it'll be a few more days and I may need to go and see someone. Man, what a pain in the neck.

drink lots of water for the hangover.. and hop eyour neck pain goes away soon... I'm the one that's usually a pain in the neck :)
 
look at you getting simpered all over by all the girlies! jeez you need to toughen up a bit :p
