10lbs in 2 months

Ok, my goal, as it says in my signature, is to gain 10 lbs in 2months. I haven't really gained in ages. So I thought this was a reasonable target, but is it? I have gained 3 lbs since last thursday, and I weighed myself after an intense workout before my evening dinner, and at a time when my water levels would be lower than normal. So what I'm looking to know is if 7 lbs more in 7 weeks, I guess, is too much, too little, or a good target to aim for.

Thanks

Possible with a good diet and training program.

I just read your other post if you want help with weight lifting you should be a lot more specific.

Excercises, reps, sets, rest intervals etc throughout the week.

Up to 2 lbs a week is the max that's possible for the average person, given optimal training, diet, and rest. I don't know what kind of body type you are or what your metabolism is, but it sounds like it's definetely an achievable goal.

Well seeing as you are just starting again you'd probably gain fast the first few months then slow down. I remember my first 3 weeks i gained 13Lbs. so 10 pounds in 2 months is deffinately do-able.

thanks very much. I've still been working out, just not gaining. Now I'm trying to gain, but wasn't sure as to what results to look for. Thanks for the advice.

thanks very much. I've still been working out, but really on muscular endurance and cutting, but not gaining. Mainly because of my diet, which wasn't great before, but is an improvement now. Now I'm trying to gain. Thanks for the advice.
