108 pounds lost since Christmas!

I drink Smart Water so I can also replenish my electrolytes. It is a little more expensive though. Another way to, not only replenish the electrolytes, but to put some flavor in your water is to use Crystal Light.

i love crystal light, i have a 48 ounce glass that i fill a few times a day.

congrats on your weight loss. It is great you are doing it under dr supervision. Your calorie count seems low and even though you arent hungry, how are your "cravings"? Sometimes the hunger isnt a problem its the cravings. What are you doing when this happens?

I just wanted to stop by and say great job!!!!!

:waving: Thanks! I have several options when it comes to squashing that cravings bug. #1) eat a handfull of almonds. #2) look in the mirror. #3) go for a walk. #4) drink a glass of decaf tea and start up the x-box or something like that to take my mind off whatever it is that is tempting me.

 Well! Down a few more pounds this week! 493 / 365.5 / 230 4 pounds to go to get to my halfway to goal! My nurse talked to me this morning wanting to know if I had considered getting a tummy tuck! I just don't know. I have good things and bad things about getting one. I'm not even going to consider it until I reach the 250 - 275 range anyway. What do you think?

I did myself in this holiday weekend! Still lost this week but only a half of a pound  so mad at myself....3 brat's off the grill Monday......bad, bad, bad! Gonna make up for it this weekend! When I'm used to losing 6 pounds a week, .5 pounds is squat!

 WAY 2 GO!!! You are doing so well! Incredible loss so far! You have every right to feel proud of what you are accomplishing :hurray:

Keep up the *awesome* work!

:seeya:

wow great job on the weightloss. I have to really up my water if i take the calculations correct i need at least 80 oz of water a day and i'm barely drinking 32-48 oz if that.. ugh.. anyways keep up the great work.

Well, I walked 3.2 miles last Saturday in our American Heart Association walk at Wichita State University. It was a good time! Looking forward to my weigh-in tomorrow!

Thats truly remarkable weight loss. At this point, youre determiniation must be snowballing as you continually get closer to your goal.

Keep up the good work!

:smilielol5: yes it is! In fact, I have added a little jogging to my walking routine (ie: Friday I walked 3 miles and during that time I jogged 1 of the blocks four times. Then Saturday I did 5 and Sunday I did 6.) My butt was sore yesterday but it was a good sore! Woke up this morning thinking I was going to go for another walk but had to talk myself out of it as Mondays I usually take off to give my body a break! Tues/Thur/Sat = 30 minutes exercise bike, 30 minutes weights, walk 3 miles. Wed/Fri/Sun = ride 30 minutes, walk 3 miles. Monday = day of rest. I kept it! Don't want to over do it! :smilielol5:

Wow, your progress is truly inspirational! Isn't it crazy to think about what kinds of exercise you can do now versus what you could do when you first started out? I know that for me, 2 months ago I wasn't even able to walk a mile in 20 minutes and today, a month and a half later, I'm able to run part of a mile and finish 1.6 miles in 27 minutes. I look forward to keeping up with your progress and seeing huge results from you. You can and will do it!

Lynn

Hey man, looking good. Keep up the great work! Nice timing on the before/after shot as I was just hoping to see one when I found that post.

Careful with the jogging at your weight as you will be extra prone to tissue injuries from all the extra impact.

I want to reiterate what people said to you early on, that 1000-1200 kcals is very low. I read somewhere that they feed coma patients 1200 a day. I respect that you have a medic you see frequently so you should be healthy now, just please understand that as you lose weight it is almost certain that you will have to up your intake to continue to lose weight.

Yes, I am under doctor supervision. I go to the office once a week to see her. I am being very cautious on the jogging, using proper form and shoes.
