So here I am almost at the end of my journey. I started out at 292 lbs, and now I am at 188 lbs. From a 48" inch waist to a 34". And a resting heart rate of 82 bpm to 55 bpm. Only 13 lbs to go!! The advice I got from this website has been a huge help, and although I have not contributed much, I visited here everyday for advice and inspiration. My weight loss has been all natural from eating right, and tons of exercise. Hope this helps inspires those who think it can't be done.

Holy crap... you look like a completely different person now. Congrats... and yes, you're smokin'. hahaa! I do have a question though. What's involved in "tons of exercise?" I'm just curious, because you look great.

Great Work man... I too started around 280, now at 215. I'd like to know what your regime consisted of so I can perhaps continue with my weight loss. Just to get an idea, I eat about 1500-1600 calories a day and about every 3-4 hours. I work out 4-5 times a week, weight training + cardio. For usually an hour to 1.5 hours.

I started last October, so now I am coming on almost a year and I have not had the numbers you have had, anything you can do to point me in the right direction?

Wow,

The transformation is nothing short of incredible! I really have a hard time seeing the thin you in the fat pix.

I would also like to hear more about your exercise and diet. Also, I'd like to hear how it has changed the way your friends and family act toward you.

I was at 260 and ultimately want to get into the 180's so it's wonderful to see such success!

Thanks for all the positive feedback!!

My exercise routine consists of 1 hour of cardio (Jogging, Treadmill) 6 days a week, 1.5 hours of weights 4 days a week, and 20-30 mins of boxing and using the jump rope 2 days a week.

Darth, your program sounds great. Calorie wise I am eating about the same, which honestly is kinda low. What kind of cardio are you doing?

And Dcarr, to answer your question I work in retail so I deal with people all day long. The sad truth is that people treat me vastly different now that I am no longer overweight. As far as friends and family are concerned, they have all been very supportive, and many have started to eat healthier as a result of my weight loss.

5 MONTHS!? 5 MONTHS!? HOW!?

What was your exercise and diet plan?

I hate you.... only jokin' the change is AMAZING Congrats

wow it's amazing that you managed to achieve that in only 5 months!! congratulations!

So, reading ur post...am i right in thinking that you didn't change your diet, just did a lot of exercise? Would you mind me asking hwo many calories on average you consumed a day?

what an amazing transformation, particularly in only 5 months. i have to ask i have lost 80lbs in 7 months. do you have any loose skin or anything? i also have probable gallstones from loosing it so quick. i keep being told to slow down but the weight has just been falling off, although slowing down a little now. slim

slim what are u doing to losse so fast?

I changed my diet quite a bit. I do admit that I ate too few calories and fat, but I really focused on eating healthy fresh foods. I cut out all soda (No diet either), no fast food, and focused on eating 1500 cals of raw veggies, fruits, wheat breads, low fat meats with protein, low sodium, and low sugar products.

I have changed my view of food from comfort, to thinking of it as fuel for my body. And that has helped a lot. Honestly it is consistent exercise combined with a healthy diet that have gotten me to my goal. If I only did one or the other there is no way I would have gotten here so fast.

As fas as loose skin, I am really lucky that I only have a small amount on my stomach, that can only be seen if I am doing push ups or somethign of that nature.
