Hello fellow weight losers. I really haven't been to the forum in a while but I just wanted to show off my new body. Well kind of I still have a long way to go in terms of toning but I'm very happy with my current results. So just to let you know I started this journey on March 11th 2009 and it's is now Dec. 26th 2009. In only 9 months I've lost 100lbs. Now I know if I can do it so can you. So stay strong and encouraged and the weight will keep melting off.

Wow! What an amazing transformation! You have done a great job and look absolutely fantastic! I agree... it is very powerful for others to see pics like this, and to know that this is possible for them as it has been for you. Way to go!

excellent job! I have lost a fair bit too (nearing 100ish) so I know how much hard work and dedication it takes. Very well done and keep it up!

You look great! What was your routine in terms of cardio and diet?

Oh, and just to bring back some memories, remember this?

So here is my story:

I have been big all my life. As a kid I was always the biggest, virtually and horizontally. And in eight grad i stood at 6 feet and weighed about 300 lbs, which was the starting point of my depression when it cam to my weight. Currently I stand at about 6'3 and weight about 325 lbs. I have been taught to be comfortable in my skin because I have a big statue. But every time I question my weight, all I hear people say is ; 'Well you carry it well.' or 'Your just big boned' or 'But cause your so tall, your suppose to weigh so much'. Well I'm tired of holding on to those excuses. I'm tired of being the big target in the room and always sweating from standing still. So, I hope with the help from this community I can finally be the slim fit guy in the room.

...well now you are my man, congratulations

Thank you so much everybody for the compliments. And Niexator your slick with that re-post.... sometimes you do need to look back to where you were and be thankful for the place that you currently are. I'm so thankful i was able to lose this weight but to find myself in the process.
Also my routine and eating habits were kind of an experiment. I can say tha the only routine that I did have was the short time that i was working with the P90X videos. Because i don't have the funds to have a gym membership or buy a huge home gym I used those videos to learn how to work out with my body weight and because of it i fell in love with yoga. But i did a lot of Cardio during this past summer and fall. I started off walking then i started biking and now I can't stop running unless it's extremely cold outside which is almost everyday here in Chicago now. But I tried to do 4 days of strength training/light cardio (15-20 min), and 3 days of hard Cardio (P90X videos, running or biking). And my eating habits, well all I really did was make better choices and actually chewed my food. LOL, I know it seems funny but that really helped me to get fuller faster so I wouldn't be pigging out .I hope this helps.
