100 kg (229lbs) power clean :D

the tendonities comes from the catch phase i assume? it requieres a bit of wrist flexibility.. you could just do clean high pulls? its like a clean but you dont catch..

Hmm I've never heard of the clean high pulls, sound interesting.

It isn't lack of wrist flexibility, It's too much flexibility. All of my joints are hypermobile. My wrists bend far more than normal peoples and (so I've been told by 4 doctors) they are really loose and easy to bend around and manipulate. I can easily touch my thumb to my forearm. I don't know if there is anyway of fixing this though.

Nice job Karky. And thanks for showing pounds as well as kgs!

What are you deadlifting these days?? Just curious if you are still DLing, is that progressing with your cleans, or are you taking time off from DLing?

DLing has actually stalled, while the cleans went for the roof. look at the DL chart, i think i have an updated number there.

heaviest weight you can is what you usually use for everything isent it? You could probobly benifit from doing some tripples doubbles or singles at a not so heavy weight, focus on form and speed, i know it sounds boring, but its needed! Power cleans are not just just brute strenght, you need a good flow, a groove.

Usually for everything. But the powerclean just feels different. I'm going to use your advice and do some singles because usually when I use the heaviest weight I'm not as explosive.

O, and I vote for a log too.

lol, hahaha :p strongman would be cool, but thats an even thinner sport around here than o lifting. I want a viking name, like Thor or something :p

Well, since im a succer for peer pressure i gave inn and made a log. So you guys better check it out from time to time! Im gonna copy paste what i write there into a file on my PC too, so i got it saved and i can look back in 5 years and laugh :p
