Hi everyone. My name is Ann and I am new to this site. My husband and I are planning to try and start a family earlier next year and working on losing some more weight for the pre-baby body.
I am 28 years old and have always been in pretty good shape most of my life, thanks to playing soccer and various other sports. But this last year I have been totally lazy and have not worked out at all. So of course a month ago I went on the scale to see that I was up to 168. I am 5'6 and usually am at the 135-140 mark and am happy with that weight and what my body looks like then. Of course, when I weighted myself, I wasn't happy at what I saw.
So on Nov 3rd, I started working out 3-5 days a week on average; doing about 15 mins of running, 20 mins of eliptical and weight lifting. I have also been eating healthy and am proud to say that I am down 10 pounds as of this morning.
I still want to continue on this journey until I reach my goal weight again of 140 and have a date of February 10th, my 2 year anniversary, to be the final weigh in date.
I will be increasing my cardio and weight amounts and sets today since what I started with a few weeks ago is becoming easier now.
So thanks for listening and wish me luck!
Ann
