I"m a 21 year old who is not satisfied with the way i look. As i'm in college, i am much more bigger than my college mates and am looking to lose weight seriously once and for all. I'm not that big but to me, i feel i can be much smaller. Like i said, i'm only 21 and i'm about 5"8. I weigh about 204 llbs and my BMI is 30.9 which puts me at obese. I have a huge chest and belly which makes me look big from the side compared to people with flat chest and just a big belly(looks like beer belly) Currently my food intake is not too calorie heavy and i play low contact basketball every now and then. It seems that my weight is stagnant all the way and i'm trying to exercise more. Can anyone recommend me what is the best way i can loose weight? i have had ACL replacements on both my knee due to playing bball and i want to know what can i do for cardio? how much should i run per day? and should i run and workout every day? Is there a good workout for weight loss and as well muscle growth? Also since i'm starting new, should i start taking protein shakes and creatine after my workouts and also if i should take protein shakes after morning runs? Thank you so much for all your help and it's just i'm trying real hard to control my intake and i just don't know how much i should calories i should aim to intake and how much exercise i should do.
