Mobile applications for exercises

Hello everyone!
Does anyone use some kind of mobile gadget (smartphone, tablet, etc) to assist in exercising?
I use my smartphone to do my workouts and here's a small idea I want to share. And it will be great if you give me a piece of advice about it :)
The idea is to have some application for physical workout. The primary goal of the app is to control tempo of workout performance. Let's say you just start workout playback and it tells you something like "on-two-one-two. Prepare to the next exercise. One-two-one-two". And you just place your phone something to hear its voice and proceed with your exercises.
Actually, some kind of prototype is ready and I need someone's opinion whether to continue to develop it.
The application is for WindowsPhone and it can do following things:
- you can create workouts (filled with set of exercises) of your own.
- then you can play/pause/stop your workouts.
- The app will tell you what to do (yes, it read names of your exercises, not just tells "Next exercise"), will count remaining time and will control tempo with "one-two" words.

Screenshots included.
So what's your thoughts on this? It would be great to know any criticism, any opinions, anything that would help to decide whether to finish this app or to throw it into trash.
Thanks in advance!!

I like it, I'd like to give it a test drive. When you say tempo of the workout are you talking about the exercise tempo? How specific can you get with the construction of the training program?

Thanks for reply!
Yes, I was talking about exercise-specific tempo. Let's say, for push-ups you need to hear 'one-two' rhytmic phrase from your coach at a tempo 1 time per second. But for basic abs crunch you need a rhytm 2 times per second. Or 2 times per 1.2 second. It's customizable.
But you will need to create construction programs for yourself. To create something that suites you perfecty. Of course there could be some way to exchange training programs between users, but... But it will worth it only if the application will be really useful for people. And I try to find it out :)
Anyway, the app is for WindowsPhone right now. So if you have a device with it I can provide you the app. Or you can try it on your PC using WindowsPhone emulator.

Great idea!! I think it definitely would help both beginners and advanced athletes! I maybe would have set settings for beginner, intermediate and advanced tempos. And then have a manual tempos also.

I'd would have to try it on my computer as i have an iphone.
You can try the app but you will need to install this:
Please contact me if you need details.
Anyway, thanks for your opinions! I'll continue to polish it then and it will be available for anyone soon. It would be great to make it community-driven and create basic, simple and helpful tool for everyone. :)

That is one advantage of our technology today, it can help us to be fit. In fact there are also some apps that can help us monitor our diet and losing weight, it would be good if we use the technology in a good way.

Well I am using a new application for my abs workout. Its "Ab Workout Express". This makes me feel like I am working out with my trainer in the comfort at my own home!!! Really an amazing app. The Ab Workouts Express app targets every muscle in and around your abs with over 120 different FUN workouts and I am sure you will love it. This app is quick result oriented. There are many workout you can do without any application like push ups. There happens to be reason this someone’s a traditional. With hands shoulder-width apart, keep the feet flexed at hip distance, and stiffen the primary. Fold the arms until stomach area gets to the ground, and then rebel up (make sure to keep the arms nestled close to the body).
