Is this common?

2 weeks back I helped my friends Ex Wife to move houses. I was doing a lot of lifting (Fridges, Beds, Sofas, Bulky boxes, gas canisters etc) then a week later i noticed my left arm had bulked out a hell of a lot! Is this common for it to happen? If so anyone in the peterborough area feel free to take me up as a helping hand :sport:

one workout will not do anything, unless you actually tore or damaged a muscle or ligament. then you are seeing SWELLING, not muscle bulking.

so either you injured yourself, and it should hurt like hell, or your mind is playing tricks on you. you can't see a size increase from one workout 1-2 weeks later.

36 hours, yes, because the muscle tissue is inflamed, but it shouldn't be noticable unless you have REALLY low bodyfat.

This might be in your head a bit (I wish bulking was this easy). The foods we eat (and relative sodium content) and many other factors can lead to how pumped we feel. But you probably did get a good pump from all of that moving, so enjoy it while it lasts!
