Ok so I have never been someone who eats a lot. I have had to wake up at 530 since I was 7 (school was very far away) and thus never ate breakfast. Lunch has never been something I eat either, they always had it at around 11 am, and I got home at 230 from school since forever so I never at lunch and would just wait until dinner usually. So now (I am 22) I am fairly overweight because when I do eat/feel hungry it is around 8pm at night and I usually am in bed or at the computer (read: sedentary) working. I never exercised before, have started to a bit now, a little running, pullups, pushups, jumping rope etc for at least 30minutes a day. But none of this is increasing my metabolism at all and I am still consuming less than 1200 calories a day, when all the calculators online say I should be eating around 2300 a day. I only drink water, have cut out all dairy and junk food. I eat fruit every day and have been trying to eat the fruit for breakfast but it makes me feel kinda sour in the stomach if I do so I usually eat it as a late afternoon snack when i get home from work around 530. So what I am ultimately wondering is how can i get my body out of this starvation mode, and burn through this fat faster?
